Sir; those who did not followed the rule of the Sabbath were actually the followers of Paul (پولس) and he was the one who misguided these Christians that believe in Jesus is enough and there is no need to obey the laws - it was not the act and influence of Dajjal. That little Dajjal you are mentioning is no other than Paul the Apostle.
I have been following Sheikh Imran since 2011. I have read almost all his books and watched literally all his videos on UA-cam (many videos that i deemed important to me, i listened several times). This video i find to be the sublimation of his incredible life work. I was very moved. And it is the summary in “bullet points” of his detailed, insightful and brilliant study of Qur’an and ahadith and their application to the history and the reality of the world. I agree, dear Sheikh, Christianity in the West has been in decline and become godless: Gender mainstream, climate change and political statements are most prominent in many of the churches nowadays, not the teachings of Jesus. Important initial reminders by Sheikh: While hadith are important, it is with absolute truth in the Qur'an that we must judge the hadith. If the hadith is in harmony with the Qur'an we accept it. If the hadith is in conflict with the Qur'an we stay with the Qur'an. If the hadith is neither in harmony nor in conflict with the Qur'an, we accept it but it has a lower status and cannot be used to start a boxing match with our fellow believers. The tafasir (commentaries) of the Qur'an also do not have the status of absolute truth and do not exhaust the meaning of the Quran Finally, the miraculous Book of Allah cannot be translated, the best that can be done is EXPLAIN the Qu'ran in different languages

I remember once I had an argument with a friend of mine who said the @Hadith abrogate Quran sometimes. Obviously, I reject that nonsense. He got angry and ended our friendship. That was ok, as I don't want to around such an ignorant person.

Common, are you a Muslims and believe in the Quran as the completely and final message and that is explains everything you needed for the Deen?
Agree. I think any document is important as so as the hadiths. It is important to verify the hadith using the Quran , as Quran is the criterion, and that applies to any documents, etc. The problem today is people do not read and do not know the Quran.

Salamun Alaikum Sheikh. A human in his early life has the option to choose what is right and what is wrong and live his life accordingly. At the afternoon of his life, his choices are constricted by what he has already done. Like a spring from a high mountain , he will have a freefall . If he has good deeds he does not have worry but if he has bad deeds , he is doomed. At the afternoon , sun dives into darkness. At the afternoon , a human does not have much of a choice but to accept the inevitable. Similarly , a civilization has its early time. That time if its foundation is based on justice and truth , it will have a long lasting life. If its foundation is based on arrogance, wickedry and injustice it will have a free fall into painful destruction at its end.

Assalaam O Alaikum, I am Ali, a student living in Glasgow. I came to attend this lecture of yours with my brother. After you finished and everyone got up, we approached you to ask a question. You told us that you would answer it after Asr prayer. However, you soon began answering other people’s questions and taking photos with them. We reminded you twice about our question and you told us that you would soon answer it. We were the first to approach you, yet you made us wait till the very end. After answering the last person’s question, you got up and left the room. We reminded you when you were leaving but you then refused to answer our question, saying that you were in a rush to leave. Even a member of the audience tried to persuade you to give us two minutes but you refused. I do not understand what made us two less important than the rest of the audience that day. Just like everyone else, we spent our Sunday and travelled far to come and listen to you. Is it because we were teenagers? Are they considered inferior citizens in the Islam that you teach? The way you treated us was disgusting and as an Islamic scholar, you should be ashamed and should apologise.

There are a lot of situations like that likely to happen when a lecture is given kindly be patient, and you don't need to call Sheikh Imran that he needs to be ashamed and something of that sort. In this age he has so much to offer in the name of Allah and so much to manage and not everything can be maintained well. You need to understand this, the way you approached him and said this in the comments was not recommended at all.

Majid Nawaz is no gem, he wanted so badly to be accepted by the western masters but found out the harsh reality when they kicked him out of LBC radio, he failed to understand the Qur’an properly when it mentions they will not accept you unless you turn away from what you believe in I.E. Islam

Salamoun alaikum, sheikh... For me, the reference to apes is directed at those who have bought into the evolutionary hypothesis and accepted the idea that they are descended from apes. So it is a warning to the whole of modern civilisation. As far as Gog and Magog are concerned, since it is accepted that they are capable of drinking the whole of Lake Tiberias to quench their thirst, it is clear to me that it is Western industrial civilisation that is so designated because it alone is capable of causing the total exhaustion of a natural resource.
Some questions asked to sheikh imran hossein show that many many Muslims DON'Tread extensively so that explanations of sheikh become easy. I have been able to read extensively courtesy of sheikh imran hossein and the more I read the more peace I get the more I even understand the little that Allah has granted me.

And I thank you for your position on the servants of the government in the masageds, so that they may repent to Allah, so that the prayer behind these pretenders would be correct. The first translation is the bridge between the Arabic language so the reader understands intellectually and precisely as to weather or not they understand, “ (as quoted by the Sheikh) not only the mind but the heart must also understand “what is being read in the language of the reader” even if the person lives in the smallest part of the world where language can be translated with difficulty perhaps but it can be done.

Asalamualikum. One of those lectures which I can listen even if it is 4 hours long non have explained western civilization like this. There is only one connection that I am not able to full make, in Surah Araf when Allah says that "Ask them about a Town which was near the sea and there fish came to them only on Saturday....." My question is this statement is refrying to a event that has already occurred before the Quran was reveled ? so Rum has already been separated in to two before the Quran came and the part that did not fish remained in Constantinople, and got defeated by Persia? That event as described by Quran was meant to tell you the origin or the source of the separation. However, the split itself between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church which is known as the Great Schism took place in 1054. So there's a gap of over 400 years since the ayah of Ar-Rum was revealed.
I'll always listen to you coz when I read the Quran, in terms of eschatology, my understanding from the Quran is exactly the same as what you have explained. I'll be your student as long as ALLAH will...

I wonder WHY NO Islamic scholar has embraced sheikh Imran’s theory for gog and magog, which is so simple and clear as a day light, was it for political reasons perhaps?!!
The conquest of Constantinople in 1453 , read the historical eyewitness accounts and compare it with surah anfal and surah tauba ,did the sultan follow it? He had a Sufi saint with him who found the body of Ayyub Ansari apparently centuries ago it was buried. Read about the person who at the last moment provided GUNPOWDER AND CANNON to sultan which broke the walls of Constantinople and then you can criticize this Sheikh.
And let me add a little something to ponder over when you think the prophet was praising sultan ahmad faiteh.(May Allah fotgive him and it may be that Allah has fogiven him becausemost of his wrongs will be righted in time - which is unusual in historic terms. long story short - khalid bin waleed kills a man in battle (or it was a prisoner) just after the man declared laa’ilaah ilAllah the Messenger of Allah turns away from (cough cough) Saif Allah wa Saif ar Rasool !!!!! and raises his hands proclaimimg - oh Allah you are a witness what khalid has done i was not a part of it. - The same one who speaks such words peace and blessings be upon him is praising a man who killed his male family members including innocent children from being successors to his throne? Is the messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him going to praise a man and his army that violated the Qur’aan on so many counts?

Complete Aayat are as follows: ألم،. غلبت الروم. في ادنى الأرض و هم من بعد غلبهم سيغلبون. في بضع سنين، لله الأمر من قبل و من بعد و يومئذ يفرح المومنون. With regard to your meaning of min qabl wa min ba'd, you are unfortunately mistaken Shaykh. If you read full Ayah, it says that it was due to order of Allah what happened before (the defeat) and what will happen later on (the victory) (to the Romans).
21:96 حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا فُتِحَتۡ یَأۡجُوجُ وَمَأۡجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبࣲ یَنسِلُونَ 21:97 وَٱقۡتَرَبَ ٱلۡوَعۡدُ ٱلۡحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِیَ شَـٰخِصَةٌ أَبۡصَـٰرُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ یَـٰوَیۡلَنَا قَدۡ كُنَّا فِی غَفۡلَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَـٰذَا بَلۡ كُنَّا ظَـٰلِمِینَ ٩ Asalam O Alaikum Dear sheikh, Gog and Magog are mentioned in the 21:96 verse of the Quran, and the very next verse 21:97 is about "Disbelievers / کافر". Please explain the relation between Disbelievers and Gog and Magog. JazakaAllah khair
There was a slight error in interpreting the verses in Surah Rum: 30:1 ۞ الۤمۤ ١ 30:2 غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ ٢ 30:3 فِیۤ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُونَ ٣ 30:4 فِی بِضۡعِ سِنِینَۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ وَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٤ 30:5 بِنَصۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ یَنصُرُ مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ٥ Allah says, لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ is an affirmation that the final outcome, victory or loss, to the Persians or Rumans, rests with Allah. You cannot seek to justify Rum's victory at the expense of the Persian victory, as a sign that Allah was on Rum's side, this creates a host of contradictions: 1. Did Allah first give the Persians victory over the Rumans because they were not trinitarians? 2. Did Allah give the Rumans victory over the Persians because they abandoned trinitarianism and adopted the beliefs the Persian's previously had but lost? 3. Was the religious beliefs of the Persians and Rumans and their adherence or lack thereof to its tenets, the criteria by which Allah decided to give one victory over the other? There is the unfortunate misnomer, "Byzantine", they never named themselves that, they were officially the Imperium Romanum/Roman Empire (i.e. Rum, Ῥωμαῖοι (Rhomaîoi)) until the reign of Heraclius, in fact the term "Byzantine" was invented in 1557, about a century after the fall of Constantinople, by the German historian Hieronymus Wolf, who introduced it in his work Corpus Historiae Byzantinae in order to distinguish ancient Roman from medieval Greek history. When the Qur'an was being revealed "Rum" was the Roman Empire, no "catholic" or "orthodox" at that time either, all that came later, Rome was just another metropolis with a bishop, like Alexandria, Nova Roma (i.e. Constantinople), Damascus, etc. Russia (Rus people) were no where near the borders of Rum, at the time when the Qur'an was revealed, these are people whose habitat is the Black Sea region all the way to Sweden, so there is no link.
Sheikh is a great scholar, May Allah bless him, One question which hasn't been clarified as yet, although, there can be other questions as well as Sheikh expresses himself his lack of understanding regarding certain things which came later to him : When Sheikh says that they say Laillah and the walls of the city will fall, Now, we all know that even orthodox Christians believe in the trione God, then who will be these Muslim children of Israel to whom the city will fall just by saying Laillah without a fight?
Muslims don't have a monopoly over la ilaha ilallah. Islam has 3 ummahs: Jews, Christians and Muslims; all of them believe in one God. Bani Israel believed in one God. Some of them accepted Jesus as the Messiah and became Christians and others rejected him and were called the Jews. This event of taking over Constantinople is way before the establishment of the Byzantine empire which formalised Christianity in its current form. The Christians who kept following the law became eastern Christians and the ones who

Important initial reminders by Sheikh: While hadith are important, it is with absolute truth in the Qur'an that we must judge the hadith.
If the hadith is in harmony with the Qur'an we accept it.
If the hadith is in conflict with the Qur'an we stay with the Qur'an.
If the hadith is neither in harmony nor in conflict with the Qur'an, we accept it but it has a lower status and cannot be used to start a boxing match with our fellow believers.
The tafasir (commentaries) of the Qur'an also do not have the status of absolute truth and do not exhaust the meaning of the Quran
Finally, the miraculous Book of Allah cannot be translated, the best that can be done is EXPLAIN the Qu'ran in different languages

I remember once I had an argument with a friend of mine who said the @Hadith abrogate Quran sometimes. Obviously, I reject that nonsense. He got angry and ended our friendship. That was ok, as I don't want to around such an ignorant person.

Agree. I think any document is important as so as the hadiths. It is important to verify the hadith using the Quran , as Quran is the criterion, and that applies to any documents, etc. The problem today is people do not read and do not know the Quran.

Salamun Alaikum Sheikh. A human in his early life has the option to choose what is right and what is wrong and live his life accordingly. At the afternoon of his life, his choices are constricted by what he has already done. Like a spring from a high mountain , he will have a freefall . If he has good deeds he does not have worry but if he has bad deeds , he is doomed. At the afternoon , sun dives into darkness. At the afternoon , a human does not have much of a choice but to accept the inevitable. Similarly , a civilization has its early time. That time if its foundation is based on justice and truth , it will have a long lasting life. If its foundation is based on arrogance, wickedry and injustice it will have a free fall into painful destruction at its end.

I am Ali, a student living in Glasgow. I came to attend this lecture of yours with my brother.
After you finished and everyone got up, we approached you to ask a question. You told us that you would answer it after Asr prayer.
However, you soon began answering other people’s questions and taking photos with them. We reminded you twice about our question and you told us that you would soon answer it.
We were the first to approach you, yet you made us wait till the very end. After answering the last person’s question, you got up and left the room.
We reminded you when you were leaving but you then refused to answer our question, saying that you were in a rush to leave. Even a member of the audience tried to persuade you to give us two minutes but you refused.
I do not understand what made us two less important than the rest of the audience that day. Just like everyone else, we spent our Sunday and travelled far to come and listen to you. Is it because we were teenagers? Are they considered inferior citizens in the Islam that you teach?
The way you treated us was disgusting and as an Islamic scholar, you should be ashamed and should apologise.
My sincere apologies to you, Ali, for not being able to answer your question in the rush that always occurs when a lecture has ended and people are anxious to get their copies of my books autographed. In the future, do please try to ask your questions during the Q&A session rather than after that. If not, kindly send your question to me by email.
There are a lot of situations like that likely to happen when a lecture is given kindly be patient, and you don't need to call Sheikh Imran that he needs to be ashamed and something of that sort. In this age he has so much to offer in the name of Allah and so much to manage and not everything can be maintained well.
You need to understand this, the way you approached him and said this in the comments was not recommended at all.

Salamoun alaikum, sheikh... For me, the reference to apes is directed at those who have bought into the evolutionary hypothesis and accepted the idea that they are descended from apes. So it is a warning to the whole of modern civilisation. As far as Gog and Magog are concerned, since it is accepted that they are capable of drinking the whole of Lake Tiberias to quench their thirst, it is clear to me that it is Western industrial civilisation that is so designated because it alone is capable of causing the total exhaustion of a natural resource.

The first translation is the bridge between the Arabic language so the reader understands intellectually and precisely as to weather or not they understand, “ (as quoted by the Sheikh) not only the mind but the heart must also understand “what is being read in the language of the reader” even if the person lives in the smallest part of the world where language can be translated with difficulty perhaps but it can be done.

Salam alikum Sheik, May Allah bless you. Is the prophet PBUH referring to the future or the past in his hadeth of banu ishak (issac) regarding Constantinople?
Asalamualikum. One of those lectures which I can listen even if it is 4 hours long non have explained western civilization like this. There is only one connection that I am not able to full make, in Surah Araf when Allah says that "Ask them about a Town which was near the sea and there fish came to them only on Saturday....." My question is this statement is refrying to a event that has already occurred before the Quran was reveled ? so Rum has already been separated in to two before the Quran came and the part that did not fish remained in Constantinople, and got defeated by Persia? That event as described by Quran was meant to tell you the origin or the source of the separation. However, the split itself between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church which is known as the Great Schism took place in 1054. So there's a gap of over 400 years since the ayah of Ar-Rum was revealed.

He had a Sufi saint with him who found the body of Ayyub Ansari apparently centuries ago it was buried. Read about the person who at the last moment provided GUNPOWDER AND CANNON to sultan which broke the walls of Constantinople and then you can criticize this Sheikh.

Is the messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him going to praise a man and his army that violated the Qur’aan on so many counts?

With regard to your meaning of min qabl wa min ba'd, you are unfortunately mistaken Shaykh. If you read full Ayah, it says that it was due to order of Allah what happened before (the defeat) and what will happen later on (the victory) (to the Romans).

حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا فُتِحَتۡ یَأۡجُوجُ وَمَأۡجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبࣲ یَنسِلُونَ

Asalam O Alaikum Dear sheikh,
Gog and Magog are mentioned in the 21:96 verse of the Quran, and the very next verse 21:97 is about "Disbelievers / کافر".
Please explain the relation between Disbelievers and Gog and Magog.

30:3 فِیۤ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُونَ ٣
30:4 فِی بِضۡعِ سِنِینَۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ وَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٤
30:5 بِنَصۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ یَنصُرُ مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ٥
Allah says, لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ is an affirmation that the final outcome, victory or loss, to the Persians or Rumans, rests with Allah. You cannot seek to justify Rum's victory at the expense of the Persian victory, as a sign that Allah was on Rum's side, this creates a host of contradictions:
1. Did Allah first give the Persians victory over the Rumans because they were not trinitarians?
2. Did Allah give the Rumans victory over the Persians because they abandoned trinitarianism and adopted the beliefs the Persian's previously had but lost?
3. Was the religious beliefs of the Persians and Rumans and their adherence or lack thereof to its tenets, the criteria by which Allah decided to give one victory over the other?
There is the unfortunate misnomer, "Byzantine", they never named themselves that, they were officially the Imperium Romanum/Roman Empire (i.e. Rum, Ῥωμαῖοι (Rhomaîoi)) until the reign of Heraclius, in fact the term "Byzantine" was invented in 1557, about a century after the fall of Constantinople, by the German historian Hieronymus Wolf, who introduced it in his work Corpus Historiae Byzantinae in order to distinguish ancient Roman from medieval Greek history. When the Qur'an was being revealed "Rum" was the Roman Empire, no "catholic" or "orthodox" at that time either, all that came later, Rome was just another metropolis with a bishop, like Alexandria, Nova Roma (i.e. Constantinople), Damascus, etc. Russia (Rus people) were no where near the borders of Rum, at the time when the Qur'an was revealed, these are people whose habitat is the Black Sea region all the way to Sweden, so there is no link.

One question which hasn't been clarified as yet, although, there can be other questions as well as Sheikh expresses himself his lack of understanding regarding certain things which came later to him :
When Sheikh says that they say Laillah and the walls of the city will fall,
Now, we all know that even orthodox Christians believe in the trione God, then who will be these Muslim children of Israel to whom the city will fall just by saying Laillah without a fight?
Can you please clarify your question a bit more?
Muslims don't have a monopoly over la ilaha ilallah. Islam has 3 ummahs: Jews, Christians and Muslims; all of them believe in one God.
Bani Israel believed in one God. Some of them accepted Jesus as the Messiah and became Christians and others rejected him and were called the Jews.
This event of taking over Constantinople is way before the establishment of the Byzantine empire which formalised Christianity in its current form. The Christians who kept following the law became eastern Christians and the ones who
aselamu aleikum sheikh Imran may Allah give you noor and strength. there is this Albanian writer in one of his books he suggested that prophet Yahya/John the Baptist was crucified (and he was send by Allah as a assistant support for Isa a.s) ...Allahu Alem.
