Laguna Lakeshore Road Network Project Update | Detailed Engineering Design

In order to provide a road network that would facilitate traffic flow from Metro Manila to the province of Laguna in Region IV, the Department of Public Works and Highways is happy to announce that the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network or LLRN project is set to start, after the signing of the P 135.485 Million Peso Detailed Engineering Design contract last November 22.
The Laguna Lakeshore Road Network (LLRN) Project is one of the seven projects under the
Infrastructure Preparation and Innovation Facility (IPIF) which aims to support the Department
of Public Works and Highways to deliver more effective, efficient and innovative infrastructure
projects all over the country.
Laguna Lakeshore Road Network caters the area in the vicinity of Laguna de Bay, with a
road network scheme that is divided into two phases.
Phase 1, which has already jumpstarted after the signing of the detailed engineering design contact, runs along the western coastline of the Lake while Phase II stretches in the Northern
to Southern coastline via an eastern route.
With a length of approximately 37 kilometres, Phase 1 it is to be built along the west shoreline of Laguna Lake, with a combination of viaduct and shoreline embankment.
The alignment will start in Barangay Lower Bicutan in Taguig City and end in Calamba City; while there will be eight (8) interchanges at the mainline which include Lower Bicutan, Sucat, Alabang, Tunasan, San Pedro/Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao and Calamba.
Interchanges are distributed along the course of the alignment and will provide access to seven cities in the western side of Laguna Lake. These interchanges are proposed to connect to municipal boundaries at the nearest public road.
Phase 1 detailed engineering design is being carried out by CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd., Chodai Co., Ltd.; Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd.; and Nippon Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd.
The design is set to be finished by year 2023, while start of construction is expected to start the same year.

Magandang proyekto pero dapat ilagay yan sa mga lugar na halos walang papaalisin na pamilya. Dito sa Sucat, Muntinlupa, plano nila paalisin yung mga bahay na may legal na titulo ng lupa. Tama ba ang development ay katumbas ang pagpa-alis ng mga taong may titulo sa kanilang mga lupa?
