FINALLY!!! I've been saying that men are like cats (emotionally anyway) for years now. Same goes for chasing - if you chase a dog (girl) she thinks, "this is fun playtime & he likes me." Chase a cat (guy) he thinks, "aaack - creepy controlling woman - must run away fast & hide" 😸
I'm a woman, but I relate to how men process emotions, need space/freedom and have struggled with commitment. I grew up in a home where we didn't talk about feelings. I also never discussed feelings with my friends because I felt it showed weakness. As I have gotten older, I have worked on these issues. I still struggle with communicating my feelings, but my husband has helped me feel safe to talk about things. It is a challenge for me to find the words to express how I feel and sometimes I need a few days to myself to process my emotions (girl cave). I've often felt alone because we are told women are good at sharing their feelings but I couldn't relate. Therefore, I felt it was important to share this because I am certain I'm not alone and there are other women out there like me.
Yes I think it's a more avoidant attachment that men are associated with more often but I also have it.. . Whereas stereotypically it's women with anxious attachment .... They attract each other anxious and avoidant but it definitely can go either gender.

"A guy needs purpose" Good thing that my future boyfriend will have many purposes! He'll be my living pillow/teddy bear, spider catcher, bottle opener, high shelve reacher (if he's tall), safe place, talking buddy and more XD
I find my sweetie does his best sharing during middle of the night when we have those sleepy talks he is most honest, vulnerable and open 💙 plus I have learned to just drop the seed-idea and then come back to it later...seems to work best 💙
This is a very good idea. Especially with an avoidant attachment style. It is less confrontational and doesn't feel like an attack or pressure to "answer" immediately.
oh, see what ur saying, do conversing in parts, part a. drop the seed, he gets used to the idea,. ..he can think bout it a day or 2, part b. Conversation bout it. another time gap, part 3. ask what he thinks bout it. Leave it
I know men wants freedom.. because they wanna have a purpose for humanity in this world to go forth to achieve it which is really commendable and also realized that men wants peace ✌️ specially from a woman who would actually bring peace to any situation to make the relationship prosper and the world 🌎 and society at large 😊 which is very essential specially in current times😌
I can highly recommend Mark's book if anyone is on the fence about it. I learned such a lot from it and believe me, I've read an awful lot of books and done a heck of a lot of courses. Really can't recommend it highly enough. Brilliant video, Mark. Thank you.
Loved this video! Very meaningful! Can you please make a video on point number 3? How to give men that gentle nudge to invest fully in a relationship please🤗
My specific person said, "I don't need anything from you." So, what if he doesn't need me for massages, cooking for him, watch over him and taking care of him in other ways? He might still want them, right? Just not need them???
🤣🤣🤣 I am convinced after over 20 years of marriage and various family and friend interactions with males that most of them don't know wtf they want. 😅😅😅😅
Honestly....it's really fun and exciting...to watch your talk...I kept laughing and smiling till the end💪💙💛💜💚💜💛💚💙😁you are incredibly super natural Mark....enjoying the knowledge so much....👏👏You are the best
I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more patient, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Most women like to do affectionate things with their female friends like cuddling with them and holding their hands and be touchy-feely towards each other, while most men would never do affectionate things with their male friends (especially not cuddling with them or holding their hands or be touchy-feely towards each other). Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends.
This is a very interesting video I have ever came across.Right now,I encountered a man like this, hahaha I set him free and space then he comes back.Men are so cute*^^*
1. In Our World... Feelings = Unimportant 1:04 My specific person finally told him how he felt about me chasing him away with mania. He doesn't want mania love. 2. We HATE Being Wrong 3:09 We had an argument about the ethics about us being a couple, a very long time ago. I was not receptive when he changed his mind. It was almost as if he was making the argument for me to fight him about it and him then giving up his argument. Was it a trick? Or, did he change his mind? Or was he just playing my feelings out of entertainment? No because he looked pissed that I took back my deeper feelings for him. 3. Men (by default) Date Like Cats 4:51 This makes sense. I thought he was just confused by running hot and cold. I couldn't figure it out! I thought he was bipolar and psychotic. I didn't realize he needed a nudge. I was hit too many times with his glass ceiling, so I would clam up. Stonewalling was not good for me to do with him. It's one of the horses of the relationship apocalypse. This also sounds like the reason why a woman can chase a man away by spending just a few uninhibited seconds to compose a text message or email. He'll feel bombarded as she feels expressive to bare her soul to the man she feels comfortable with, interested in and even loves. 4. A Man NEEDS Purpose 6:34 Why isn't his purpose to marry me as he said he wanted to? Me chasing him away with too many messages? Doesn't sound possible. OMG! I just thought that he might think that my mind is like his! That if I bring in drama to our relationship, then it's because I haven't found my purpose! He obviously thinks that a woman's brain is the same as a man's brain. He is making conclusion like this and I notice that my father is like this too! 5. Freedom Matters to Us. A LOT 7:41 My specific person has asked me for the freedom of him sitting next to a girlfriend, but for me not to get jealous! That's crazy! Was he testing my level of tolerance? Was he testing my entitlement? He just seemed to be forcing me to stop being too nice as I usually am and change into a Babe in Total Control of Herself. It feels awful to realize that being too nice is a disadvantage when it comes to love and marriage. When you are a doormat in world with no abusive people, you live so happily! Being with him could possibly mean destroying my own spirit! 😱
I understand space especially after getting divorced and wanting it lol. But I am focused on my career and helping people and have learned to cherish friendships and be open to love/relationships. The only reason I want a man in my life is to make good memories, sex, and be there for eachother when needed. 🥰 I tell myself constantly be his friend first and everything else second to him.
Great video Mark Sir..👍 It’s so difficult to understand men and so I am going to watch this video if/ whenever I plan to get into a relationship or even before I go out to meet a male friend (not a boyfriend).. Very important video for women..😊 Thank you sir..
Awesome video. Thank you. This helps save relationships. I couldn't understand my husband although we've been married for 30 years now. This video helps me accept him more. I realized I've been a control freak trying to change him all these years to the person I wanted him to be thinking that his love for me will make him change. What a waste of my life and it's making him sick literally with diabetes and gastritis which are partly or mainly from stress. I realized changing him stresses him to lose me feeling not good enough all the time. Now, I learned to let go, give him more freedom to be himself. But I don't think i want to be with him another 50 years, if God is willing, to be with an angry man. I thought I can tame him but I was a fool. What a waste of my youth and his. He deserves someone who can make him happy.
Sad how men think it's not macho to talk about their feelings no wonder men die earlier than women generally because not letting it out causes them to blow up within, get sick and die. Women now prefer emotionally intelligent men who are more open emotionally than macho egotistical immature angry men. Macho used to turn me on but now macho scares me.
I am a women and I actually relate to some of these too I love freedom and I also have a voice in my head about contributing and making a difference haha!

Funny that I have some of those things too, I like to keep my freedom, and most of the time my head is busy about my purpose in the world😅 I think every year the people are getting neutral about these traits and less complete man or woman
It’s very accurate. And, very well explained. Your video is good, as usual. P.S. It’s just if I want to be funny, I should get 4 catsmen and schedule them in different time so they don’t know about each other to enchant my life. 🙂 (just kidding)

It has nothing to do with gender but more to do with the way you are raised!
Im a woman I struggle with my emotions also.

Funny that I have some of those things too, I like to keep my freedom, and most of the time my head is busy about my purpose in the world😅 I think every year the people are getting neutral about these traits and less complete man or woman
This is so funny 🤣
Glad you enjoyed, Ana. Thanks for watching! x

Good video
It’s very accurate. And, very well explained. Your video is good, as usual.
P.S. It’s just if I want to be funny, I should get 4 catsmen and schedule them in different time so they don’t know about each other to enchant my life. 🙂
(just kidding)
Mine wants freedom to see other women but doesn’t want to know if i am but finds out by asking mutual friends. Not cool
