Hello friends, welcome or welcome back to my channel, my name is Elizabeth if you’re new around here. I’m a wife and stay at home mom to 7 adult slash teenage children, two girls aged 26 and 22. Three boys aged 19, 16, and 14 and an auntie to 2 additional teenage boys, 15 year old twins.
Happy Independence Day to all my USA friends and Happy Thursday to all my non-USA friends. In today’s video spend the day with me while I get my house whipped into shape. I give my kitchen, living room, office, and bathroom tons of elbow grease as I junk decluttered, dished washed, floors vacuumed and mopped, shelves dusted, and toilets scrubbed. You won’t believe house dirty my house is, even though I clean this puppy almost every day!! I also share a yummy dessert with you all, Taste of Homes Chunky Apple Cake. And as always stick around till the end where you will see all the new updates to the basement where you will see all the drywall done, a 2nd coat of mudding done and the start of the closet in the front room. Happy 4th!! My best friend and I celebrated our 4th “friendaversary” today, we went to Chili’s for lunch, grilled hot dogs and hamburgers this evening, watched my granddaughter play in the pool, fireworks tonight and now UA-cam and BED! lol it was a good day 😊 love how the basement is coming along! Speaking of the barkeepers friend: I think it's the nature of the cleaner, because it does the same thing to my sink. And I'm constantly cleaning it. 😂 Well, it seems like it anyway. 😅
I love your kitchen cabinets. I have a hutch with the same exact finish. Different, old time hardware, but beautiful. I've had it for 27 years.
I live in Nevada, and dust is everywhere, like it seems like you're breathing it, especially when it's windy and gusty. We used to live in a mobile home, and I gave up on dusting. 😮😂 But we live in a very nice apartment now, and the dust is minimal, like I can dust much less frequently. I have to be in the mood. 😂

My cabinets are one of my favorite features of this house, I have a commenter who is always posting that I should paint them, but I don't think I ever will, they are just too beautiful!!! 😍 How amazing you have hung on to your hutch for so long!! ❤
I can totally relate to being in the mood to dust, my house is so much lighter now that it shows so much worse. My hubby changed our furnace filler yesterday so I'm hoping that helps!!!! 🤞

I agree with wearing socks in the house! We don’t wear shoes either, but wear socks…plus, if you have wood floors your bare feet leave foot prints…ugh!

I like real life videos. Elizabeth how about getting a good pair of non slip slippers. I have a few pairs actually. It's good for safety while you're cleaning and might be good for your foot problem.
Oh I'll have to look, I do like wearing slippers in the winter but not sure I've ever seen nonslip, although I usually just buy them at Walmart!!! 😆
I do have several pairs of non-slip fuzzy socks I like to wear in the winter, so I know those will help a ton, but they are too hot to wear now!!!

Hey Elizabeth you have Plantar Facititis girl I had in both feet it's horrible pain. But you should invest in a pair of Crocs for around the house I can never walk barefoot with my feet😫😩😊❤ Happy 4th🧨🎇🎆
It is the worst pain ever!!! Our carpet helps tremendously, but we are getting rid of it soon. I did have some of those "cloud" type pillow slip ons I wore, but the kids started wearing them to take the dogs outside so I can't wear them inside anymore!!! 🤯 I may have to look into getting some crocs when we replace the carpet!!! 👍
I think that it's true. If I were you I would replace the carpet by linoleum or some other kind of hard floor. Espacially now you have dogs.
Yes, we've figured out it's not accidents happening, he is "marking" and nothing I've tried yet to clean it has cleaned it well enough!!! 🤯 I love having carpet, but man it has to go!!!!
