Absol. Just saying that Pokemon's name fills me with hatred. All my life, I've seen this Pokemon, this creature who's garnered the reputation for being a doombringer. Clearly, it's for good reason. I hate this Pokemon. I hate what it represents.
And what I hate the most is how, every time I see it...someone I love dies.

Absol is my favourite Pokèmon. I like it because it has a cool backstory. It tries to warn people of natural disasters but is mistaken to cause them. Poor Absol. 😓
It's my favourite pokemon to. Not just for its story but its design as well. Especially its mega evolution. It takes the form of angel and I adore angels. It's as if it's a messenger of the gods to warn us and let us live on. Plus IT'S SO FLUFFY! How can you not love a thing that is so fluffy!
That fact that Daniel said he hqted Absol, well, that must have been really hard for him. And I think that the Absol was just misunderstood, because one of its pokedex entry says that it can predict catastrophes. Because of this, it is often blamed for the catastrophe.
It's just a creepypasta. I'm 99 percent sure he doesn't hate it.

Hey,the night when I watched this,I made a creepypasta called 'Framed Absol' because of this,later on the night.
It's said by the Pokedex in an Advanced Generation episode, "if a human sees an Absol, a catastrophe is soon to follow"
These are the things we leave out of our pokemon being real fantasies. And yet... this makes me wish pokemon were real even more. I dunno why
Absolutely WARNS people about disasters. It honestly intends no harm, but is called "The Disaster Pokemon" because of this.

Hey guys, Daniel here. I'm really glad so many people have enjoyed my narration of this creepypasta! The support I get on these Creepytober videos ever year is a huge reason why I continue to do these creepypasta narrations every October and I'm really grateful to the vast majority of you who continue to support this content when I do it. However, there are a few things I need to clarify to some of you, mostly because I'm getting a little sick of seeing the same few comments over and over again over the course of the 2+ years that this has been up.
1. No, I don't hate Absol. I should clarify right off the bat that I did not write this creepypasta (nor have I ever claimed to write any of the 'pastas that I narrate on this channel; if I did, I would've noted that in the title and description), and therefore I'm simply narrating the words "I hate Absol" that someone ELSE wrote for the sake of the story, which is from the perspective of the narrator (who, again, is NOT ME). I actually love Absol -- it's my all-time favorite Pokemon, which is why I wanted to narrate a creepypasta dedicated to it.
2. To all the people who think they're being really smart by correcting me that Absol doesn't cause disasters but instead warns people about them, **I KNOW**. Again, Absol is my favorite Pokemon, so in what universe do you think I wouldn't know this? Again, just to reiterate, I AM NOT THE AUTHOR OF THIS STORY. I am just reading the words that SOMEONE ELSE wrote, so if you have some personal issue with the misconceptions about Absol as a "doombringer", you'll have to find the narrator of the story (or at least the person who submitted it to the Creepypasta Wiki, presumably the same person, which I linked in the description) and take it up with them. And while we're on the subject of the perception of Absol...
3. The whole idea of the story is that misconception of Absol causing death and destruction and misery, and the narrator growing to hate the very idea of Absol as a being because of it always being around when someone close to them dies. The entire concept of Absol is its being mistaken for a doombringer because of its tendency to be around when shit goes south, and that's what this story plays on. The narrator is probably just one of the many people who caused Absol to receive the reputation that it has, BECAUSE of their misconceptions about why Absol was there during all the instances of death and destruction throughout the story. So, again, you leaving a comment trying to correct me that, "Oh no, you silly ignorant boy, Absol does not cause death, it merely WARNS of it, you dumb-dumb" is completely pointless, because again, I KNOW. I DID NOT WRITE THE STORY, THE NARRATOR IS NOT MEANT TO BE ME, AND I AM ALREADY AWARE OF ABSOL BEING A MESSENGER OF DISASTER AND NOT A CATALYST.
I don't mean to go on any kind of a rant about this, but seriously, you guys. It's been 2 years since this has gone up, and frankly, I'm tired of seeing the same dumb, ill-informed comments from all the people who clearly think they're the first to drop any of these "bombshells" on me, because you're not, and you're still wrong anyway. At this point, I'm probably going to start marking any such future comments I get on this video telling me I'm wrong about Absol or some such nonsense as spam, because I'm just tired of getting notifications of new comments on a video, only to find out it's someone thinking they're being smart and letting a cat out of the bag when they're really not.
(And now watch 20 more people do it anyway despite me writing all this, because no one wants to read.)

While watching this video, I was playing my copy of Pokemon X, I was battling a trainer, and once the mom said the dad died, I killed the opposing trainers Pokemon, the next Pokemon... Absol.

Very sad indeed. I wonder why the character in the story did not try to save Vulpix. I watched this on January 19/2016 and I still think of this story.
