Waterfall on North Tea - Northern Algonquin Canoe Trip: Part 2

- We bought a used #Swift Prospector 16 at the Georgian Bay Swift store on our way up to the far north of #Algonquin Provincial Park! In part 2, we take it to the #waterfall on one of the two portages that head to Manitou Lake from the east arm of North Tea Lake.
Days 2 and 3 were filled with fishing, swimming, and eating. We started with a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs on the cast iron skillet, packed up all the food and garbage we had so we didn't have to hang the bag in the tree, and headed off to the waterfall.
Along the way we fished for a while, but didn't catch much of note. The portage sign ended up being taken off the tree by someone, so perhaps that was the reason the campsite along the portage was vacant. Either way, we ended up having the entire waterfall to ourselves which was absolutely awesome!
Afterwards, we crafted some bushcraft tongs and used our cups to boil some water for coffee and tea, ate some fruit, cheese, meat, and some zucchini Carlo grew in his garden.

If you are in the market for a canoe, or a kayak for that matter, I highly suggest checking out what Swift has to offer. I'd love to visit Australia some time, such awesome sights to see! Maybe one day... Unfortunately the stars were barely visible because the moon was just so bright haha. Though, at times you can see the rest of the milky way so dang clearly, it's gorgeous.
