Yeah, I was really impressed with the song, and their second song is also amazing! Into the Drone. Been listening to these two songs on a loop for a while.

Great reaction, liked hearing your breakdown. Btw, the lead singer/guitarist and bassist are in a really good jazz band Valmuz.

Lovely that we appreciate the music they share. It does have a special something. Whatever the ingredient it is its worthy of the cost. There's a real fusion of minds, epic.

El vocalista y el bajista tienen una banda de jazz fusion por muchos años, de ahi esos detalles en los arreglos de la cancion. Saludos desde Peru

FINALLY another reaction channel I like. You and Charismatic Voice. You got my sub. I like how you described the vocals. I couldn’t think of what I was hearing but you said it well. Others tried to think of singers that they were reminded of. I like how you talked about thinking of song with just vocals and guitar or piano. When its bare bones really how it hits you

It was moody and intense with great dynamics, smooth vocals with an edge, technically clean, a gutsy bass and of course, EES's rock solid drumming. I loved it and when the 2nd release came out it very different and just as good! PS I believe that Peter and Chris both attended university majoring in music and jazz, so they should be right up your alley!

I believe El Estepario Siberiano said the lead/guitar and bass player are both jazz musicians.

They sound like Soundgarden mood and vocals wise, meeting a 3 piece Linkin Park cover band on 0.8x speed & with no synths - maybe its the rhythm, then meeting Chevelle punch wise just a 3 person band with all 3 on "ten"; which is a really cool combination.

El guitarrista y el bajista son originalmente músicos de jazz

That sound of drums "that click" that youre talking about is mainly due to triggers. Especially in metal music. It makes for a more reliable, consistent sound profile for your kit.

He was already a touring drummer for a band our of Brazil IIRC. He mentioned leaving them a while ago to do more UA-cam stuff and whatnot.

That band was Saratoga. A Spanish heavy metal band, out of Madrid.

I love the song, but my ears still aren't used to having the drums be the most prominent thing in the mix. The hi-hat drowns out the guitar.

  • @Inspadave

That is the most tasteful stuff I've heard Siberiano play. Much better than the crap he posts on TikTok.

    • @magnushhogberg

If you think showcasing what you can achieve with hard work and practice is crap, sure. To each his own.

    • @ashebanow
      @ashebanow Місяць тому

I completely agree. The videos he puts out are technically impressive, but the music has absolutely no soul/heart/feel, it's just noodling to show off.
This new song here seems better, he's actually trying to play music.

  • @ClickToPreview

I think the first verse is "weak" in the sense that it's not brought up in the mix as high as it should've been for the opening of the song compared to the other instruments. The second verse is MUCH better. Clearer, stronger, more balanced with the other instruments. The chorus verse should've been brought up a little too. Yes, there's "depth", but it needed to be CLEARER. Rock bands live and die on how well the singer's parts are engineered.
