Israel Mayengo a former member of UPM speaks out on significance of the day

- Heroes Day in Uganda was gazzeted by an Act of Parliament in 2001 to recognize eminent Ugandans that played a vital role in the liberation struggle. However, some Ugandans say that the day is of no significance. Israel Mayengo, a former member of Uganda People’s Movement, a political party that was formed by President Museveni, talked to Seetv’s Heston Munanura and had this to say.
