My strategy: MY eras. Create a player offline (You have access to all the sigs and badges) put him on a team and test all the sigs (tune the sliders for a realistic difficulty) play my eras and practice and all the moves ,releases & badges before you spend a dime on my career edit the player as many times as you want (Height & position) once you find a build you like then go into the builder and try to match the threshholds to the build Take your TIME...i always do that before i make any build that costs me money especially knowing they will patch things.. play the game in My Eras for a few weeks to practice the game mechanics until they get those few first patches out the way before going online. By the time you do you will have a build you know you like and you know how to play the game without dropping bread to learn.. peace..

For example, if you want to primarily protect the paint as a Center, you need good to high interior and high block, so sacrifice for that and get whatever you can on the back end. You can choose two things to be great at or 3 things to be good at is my general thought process
I think limitless range should be the first badge y’all test out since it requires the biggest difference and sacrifices from 23. Seeing how effective bronze is will determine if it’s even worth having it that high and wasting attributes
How is the overall point distribution between heights this year. Are 6’4 - 6’6 more viable this year? Or do 6’1’s still get more overall points because they are smaller than a 6’4?
What would be the point of a 6’1 if they didn’t get more points? Smaller guards are always the most skilled players in the nba. Based on what I’ve seen though 6’6 looks really good
So essentially they are gonna make you pay just as much as last year VC wise for builds that are far worse... It's sad that so many people wanted so much for them to nerf builds that they won't see how much from a financial standpoint they are gonna get hit. They have to have cheaper VC prices now cuz they are really gonna be stealing money
One I’ve noticed that is brand new, big men were never able to get 99 pass accuracy in previous 2ks and there’s never been a big in 2k with it. Even Jokic just has 93. I look forward to seeing if it’s worth it

It's robbery, but it's gonna continue and you creators just ignore it normalize it. $1 is too much to charge a player to spend attributes in a SEVENTY DOLLAR GAME, 2k is out here charging damn near $200 a character. Not even refundable. No one's gonna do shit to stop it, so I'm stopping it myself. If the community boycotted the game, this shit would stop.

I'm having trouble building my 2K24 player with the same attributes as my previous player from 2k23. It's frustrating that something as simple as creating a player has become so complicated. I spent $100 on this game expecting to be able to recreate my previous player, but now it seems like a waste. It's crazy how difficult they've made the process.
As that rare MyCareer only player, these builds don’t excite me at all. I appreciate balance in the park and rec, but there should be far fewer limitations in MyCareer. I may be waiting for a sale this year.

@@husseingwad6738 It takes more than two full seasons in MyCareer to grind a player to 99, and that doesn’t include sigs. My time is more valuable than that. Besides that, I need 3-4 players to try the different play styles and sigs, and commit the same time or money to each of them. If we’re talking online modes, the limitations and balance makes sense. I specified MyCareer only. There should still be limitations, but there should be far fewer of them in an offline mode. We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one mate.
I feel you about the limitations in mycareer. I only play mycareer & don’t care for park and rec, I just want to build my player how I want, with no limitations and just play my career

How did you get that information off of this video. By watching its clear a small PG is going to run things this year. You need to be a 6'4 or lower to get the speed booster badge which means 6'5 and above are going to be slower this year.
2k Labs said "hall of fame badge" you will need to be 6'4 or below, but didn't rule out a taller build might be able to get say silver speed booster. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I think the problem wit the badge regression is gonna happen when your hunting specifically for opposite or conflicting badges. If I’m trying to get posterizer in My Career, I’m not catching and shooting. I hope it doesn’t feel like 95-99 from 2k20
This is my exact worry. In 23, I use HoF Space Creator and Gold Posterizer. Both these badges utilize two different ways of scoring, and sometimes I'll have a game where I don't shoot a single stepback or I don't take a dunk.

Example. If you get dimer on silver but then you stop passing for 20 plus games it drops back to bronze. Then you have to build it back to silver
