Worst to Best Rivian R1S Colors

What if I told you... there are only ten to choose from… but there’s clearly one choice for the worst color for the Rivian R1S color.
Available colors:
According to Rivian, the R1S come standard with LA Silver.
Glacier White, Rivian Blue, Compass Yellow, Forest Green, Red Canyon, Midnight, El Cap Granite or Limestone are all upgrades.
Meanwhile, preorder holders with Launch Edition reservations have access to our Launch Green color.

Limestone is my fav...hides the dirt extremely well.
Hmmm. I can see that. I feel like Limestone is a good color but I wish it popped and stood our more.
I like both Greens. On a separate note did anyone else besides me notice that on the Red one when he pans over to the truck bed that the fold down filler piece between the bed and tailgate is flush with the tailgate??? I’m waiting on my R1T but on all the ones I’ve seen that mid piece slides up against the tailgate but was never flush up against it. Am I seeing things?
idk can anyone else confirm this?
@@JohnWDavisMedia The more I pause the frame and look at the Red R1T it seems that it just may be an optical illusion since there’s really no point of reference and all the bed parts are black there may be a gap between the tailgate and the mid panel.
I'm getting ready to order a R1S real soon. MY 3 color choices are Black on Black, El Cap Gray with Forest Edge & warm ash Interior and lastly Limestone with Forest Edge & warm Ash interior. As of right now this is my 1st choice SUV but I have been looking at others options of SUVs.

I just configured my R1S to be RED with white interior. It was a toss up between the Blue and Red, but in the end I felt the Red felt more 'royal' than the blue, thanks for doing this.

Honestly, they're all great colors and you can't go wrong with any of them. I had my R1S configured with a black exterior .. but got access to the shop and took a white one.. it looks incredibly nice especially when you tint all the windows.. It definitely turns a lot of heads. But I think any R1S would do that haha
I think all Rivian colors have their own audience. I say go with whatever appeals to you.

@@JohnWDavisMedia white is the best. It’s timeless. 5-10 years from now m, it would still look elegant. LA silver looks cheap. It will be outdated with a different shade of gray over time. It’s just my opinion. You’re entitled to yours.

Agree. White generally looks clean at least from a distance. Black looks great freshly detailed but looks dirty pretty quickly

White is the best I think, looks really good in person. I can count more white in your video than any other color and that’s the evidence😊.

I drive a red Tesla, and my neighbor just bought a Yellow R1S, it grabbed my heart, watching it back in his garage!
It just can't be put into words, the excitement, I instantly felt, to have this in my neighborhood!

You would think Rivian would be more earth colors, not base primary colors. Dark Grey is only one I would choose.
It would be great if they did Sand/Beige metallic or even a deep brown metallic.
I could see how that could work with their ethos.

I own an R1S in LA Silver because it was a free option and kept the cost below $80,000.

I don’t like the launch green at all, the Forest Green is good. I think for me I’m torn between Rivian Blue and Red Canyon, then Black for my third choice.

My neighbor just backed into his garage with a yellow rivian r1s. It is an amazing addition to the neighborhood, it looks beautiful!
The blue is... meh. If Rivian comes up with new colors, I hope they make the tone a bit darker, like a deeper ocean blue or an orange haze that goes darker towards the bottom. I overall prefer darker, richer colors over bright florescent ones.
I respect that. Colors should be continuously enhanced.

My best to worst, Blue, green, then all the rest, I think yellow is the worst and Limestone is the best for all the ladies,
