The question should be: WHO EXPERIENCE ANYTHING. The answer is the EGO which is just a thought, it does not exist as a solid objet. If someone is in deep sleep, he or she does not experience anything but awarness is there. Awarness is where the ego appears and that awarness is not personal, is impersonal non conceptual.
Ignorance is so intelligent that it is easily capable of pretending it has been neutralised and is also capable of mimicking awareness itself so that the student of truth may be deluded for decades before they finally realise awareness is still a subtle object that is known by their ego or non-eternal jiva. Awareness is reality and reality is awareness and so only a rare person is truly ready to relinquish their limited identity in favour of an oceanic freedom so terrifying to the boundary making ego that it doesn’t bear talking about really although I am attempting to. Maya that which makes ever free awareness appear as subject and object is the same as awareness (it must be as awareness is all), but it is also different because it makes awareness appear as separate objects appearing to have their own volition and consciousness which they definitely don’t except in that their essence is non dual existence awareness and once any human jiva sees clearly that it has always already been awareness itself and has therefore never been separate then as long as this knowledge destroys the idea that it is the doer and neutralises any binding vasana samskaras then this alone is enlightenment.
