Coolest thing I've ever witnessed. Saw Redd Foxx at the Hacienda in Vegas. After the show, rather than escape out some back exit, he comes right out the front door where many dozens of middle-aged black women were waiting on the steps to meet him. He spent nearly an hour, making sure he met, hugged, kissed, chatted with, and took photos with every last one of them. When his entourage pulled up in a Cadillac limo, he had the driver get in back and made a u-turn across six lanes...and down the strip he went. What a real person. What a good man.
