I don't remember - have you ever built the Revell 1/600 scale TOS Enterprise? If not you should check it out; like this one it is a modern kit which makes all the difference. I think they didn't get the shape just right and the grid lines are way too wide, but the kit itself is a joy to build, especially if you want to light it, and it makes a great basis for a post TOS pre TMP hybrid build.
Anyone still have the PL lighting kit for this still available? I've do e my own before but on much simpler projects. There are third party kits available (the one from Tena Controls looks good) but would prefer the PL kit.
I like this modernized version of the Enterprise except for one thing I HATE the gunmetal / silver coloring. Much prefer the light grey / white colors of the original. If build this I would paint it that way. I think that is a more accurate and better looking color palate.
I quite like the gunmetal coloring. Gives it a bit of uniqueness while the design still honors the original NCC-1701. This ship looks very credible being the precursor to the refit STTMP ship.

i wish they would make the battery box with a time that you can have come on and run so long then cut off
