One very effective solution can be to ask the customer to make a 360 degree video of his own vehicle on his fone. This way a lot of workshop time will be saved n tension of damage before inventory taking will be taken care of👍👍

Best thing you can also do for the workers is that all the safety related gears must be in a separate place (room) and once they wear all the safety gears then only they are allowed to punch in their attendance as saw that your workplace have biometric login system
Inventory in is very important document between customer and the workshop . If a car has come in and is missing from workshop , you will not have a clue in the vehicle was received by your staff . Secondly it does not take 5min to inspect a car externally, like the zoom car does , This is very important to both the parties legally .
Sir you are doing great quality work but just one little advice Pl make 3 minutes detail video at the time of taking delivery delivery from Customer to your workshop & send this video with all old damages with your work invoice to Customer so that Customer will not refuse any old damage because first video will be taken in front of Customer only

Hey Raghav I like your approach to your work. You are also an inspiration for me to grow. I have a suggestion. I am also an engineer and I know the problem with you guys not wearing the safety shoes. I guess the basic reason behind that is the soul of a safety shoe. If you recommend you guys to replace the inner soul of the shoe with the cushioned or gel pad you'll definitely see the changes of the habits of the workers.

I just advice you that you make one system in which you place some camera which camera take photos of every side of vehicle and it's can also help you and your customer you either develop mobile application in which clinet name, vehicle number, clinet contact details which directly input in that application and on spot you click photos by that mobile phone so may be it's good for both of you clinet and owner. Also then after you don't have to need many people to work done in this kind of system thank you love from Rajkot Gujarat

Just make the whatsapp group during the car drop off and type a confirmation that the car has been received in the workshop. Whatsapp group can be accessed from the office so the admin staff can share their invoicing/estimates copy in the group.
I will suggest from my previous experience with tata service that when I entered service centre first thing they make is job card and a proper inspection on gate only on service centre then the mark it on job card about any damage or problem then after a couple of minutes they handover job card to service advisor after then they make group with customer an advisor this makes clear and also no service centre gives delivery note or anything like that
Job card ke neche hi delivery note or vehicle received note hota hai attached you can make that print as Suzuki has Tow wheelers ka u would knowing as u guys have burgman
