But, when the same topic was raised to create an awareness back in 2018 by a popular playback singer and dubbing artist, that woman was banned by the film industry, verbally abused, slut shamed, and what not by the people of Tamil Nadu, just for speaking the truth and standing with victims of sexual abuse. This industry and audience still continues to cheer men like singer Karthik who has been a cause of distress for multiple women. Shame!
