i have the 2016 vw jetta sel premium and i love the 4 speed fan on it instead of automatic. When i did have automatic climate control i still used the fan speed setting not auto
Too a price sure, but ive got a mk4 with 300k miles on it. I cant hate any car that stays reliable at 300k miles with mostly just basic maintenance. Its spartan for sure, but its doing the work!
I have a 2011 5 speed manual jetta its a great car but the clutch engagement is very small and springy and its the 2 liter inline 4 so it struggles to get up hills if you don’t downshift very early also it has a very weird gear ratio with 1 gear being to fast for everything as it should be but second gear also being to slow for parking lots and driveways. The gearing is what gives me the hardest time with this car.
My 2013 jetta doesnt even have cruise control🙁🙁🙁🙁 i loved usingg cruise control in my old. Ass kia its noot like the newer cars where if u hit thr brakes itll turn CC off, my old sportage would let u come to a full stop and let ur foot off the brake and it would climb up to the set speed , could even do it going slow- buddy has a chevy trax u have to be going 30+ and it stops as soon as u tap the brake and u have to set it again and in a big city it never works out
The stereo in my VW Jetta TDi (2011) just stopped working again. This is the third broken stereo, since I bought the vehicle used in 2018. No power at all, same as the last two. It’s so frustrating to deal with this in a vehicle. In each instance, I tried a “hard reset” by pressing/holding the power button for a minute and replacing the 15 fuse for the stereo. Mine will not connect to Bluetooth. Can anyone recommend a stereo that fits this vehicle? (I cannot buy another one of these pieces of junk).
Hey I had a Jetta 2011 sport wagon tdi had that problem only once and bought a after market BOSS radio with apple car play and that lasted me my entire time with the car
Your just a hater Volkswagen has been the most comfortable and reliable vehicle for me all the other vehicles break I can drive a Volkswagen so hard that Ford Chevy and Dodge can’t stand the amount of driving I do

the cruise controls are perfect, you just leave it on all the time and when u want to start cruising just click set and it goes...

Weird, my 2.5 feels just fine. Guess that’s why you don’t go with the 2.slow.

I'd get a VW Jetta diesel, but only if it had manual transmission, it saves more fuel.
