PHOTOS: Severe storms leave behind path of damage in Chicagoland

Several tornadoes were reported on Monday night as a round of intense storms brought strong winds and heavy rains to Chicagoland.

Although these winds and everything were absolutely terrifying, I’m grateful that nothing happened to my house and neighborhood. I’m still kinda scared, but I’m so glad that tornado didn’t form 😭

70-80 mph winds with treacherous lightning here in Iowa as it moved over the Mississippi River to Chicago area. Some cities had 90 mph winds and we have some areas without power.
