Thank you 🥰 It was long overdue, I just hadn’t thought to ask for one before. My boss was so sweet about it all, I can’t remember if I have mentioned this already but the day I asked for a payrise he told me he’d actually put a request in a few weeks before because he’d realised I should have had one ages ago 🤣

Best was getting 75% of the floors cleaned! Worst was my paid helper was so slow I had to vacuum, then she mopped. The whole point was for the helper to do both. My back has been hurting for days! Going to find a different helper.
Oh what a pain! That’s not exactly the aim of having a helper is it? Good about the floors though, I bet that feels really good 💛💛

Thanks Josh 🥰 Yeah, I been doing a whole bunch research since then to get clued up on what to ask him. There is some debate about what is the best technique and he doesn’t have very many results photos available online so I need to see if he has more in his office or a way for me to speak to past patients. I’ve found reviews online, and from a handful of lippy patients one was very unhappy and the others are super recent. So he might not be my guy but still gonna have a chat and see what he does.
@@budgetsdreams I totally get what you mean but when you have your consultation even if he isn’t your guy you know what to say to the next doctor, before I had any work done I did my research too, it’s so much better to be safe than sorry 🥰

Oh haha to the LISA, you and Nat both! It’s good science though right? Lol Well done on the weightloss, that’s amazing! I’m really on it now too, not just because of the legs but because I got some bloods done last week and it turns out my liver is very unhappy 😢 I’m waiting for follow-up but my guess it’s fat so getting on it! I’m really sorry to hear someone broke your trust, that’s heartbreaking. Is it something mendable with time? Xx

@@budgetsdreams oh yes! It’s been a goal of mine since moving into my own home a couple of years ago, so it’s been a long process to finally get to this point but so worth it! I honestly wish I’d found the cash stuffing method many years ago, it’s crazy how much it actually works 😂
@@MrsMBudgets I think we all feel the same with that haha! But, maybe we wouldn’t be able to see the real benefits and love it so much if it had always been our “normal”. The thing I get excited about the most is being able to teach Oscar how to manage his money so hopefully he doesn’t make the same mistakes I did. I’m so glad you reached that 1k goal 🎉 What’s next?
@@budgetsdreams aww thank you ☺️ next on the list is paying off our loan early, I wanted to get an emergency fund in place first incase anything happened while just paying minimum on the loan, now I’m using saving challenges to save and make extra payments off the loan, my goal is to pay it off a year early 🤞
I’m sure Oscar will be watching and learning from the sidelines 😁
Fab video. Good idea about the consultation. My best and worst this week was finally going swimming after not going for four weeks as have been ill. Then getting a flipping eye infection😫

Oh, it’s really not interesting haha! But… when I was really young I was very into horoscopes and all the related birthstones and sign stones. Back then some books said garnet and some said ruby. Garnet was cheaper so I just bought things that were garnet. Then, when I was around 15 places were getting pretty consistent on it being ruby so I accepted that. My brother actually bought me a really beautiful ruby ring for my 16th which sadly got broken a few years later, it was horrible and painful… that is a story in itself haha! So anyway, since the heartache from that breaking I haven’t really been into so much. So, when Ben said “pandora said it’s your birth stone garnet” I just rolled with it haha! Until the lovely Jenn put me right in the comments lol

I’ve had a good week, hit my work deadlines, and was super spontaneous today and booked something I maybe shouldn’t have! Although I’m so glad I did.

Boo to investments 🤣 (don’t tell the internet finance people I said that haha!) We’ll see what happens with the consultation. I need to see if I like the dr or want to search a bit more. But it will cost tens of thousands so it’s not ever likely but we’ll see. Yay for hitting work deadlines ⭐️ And I REALLY want to know what you’ve booked!!
It’s a good week, daughter turned 12 today so I’m feeling quite old 🥺.
Ugh passports, finally getting hubbys passport renewed because it expires the month before our cruise holiday next year. Only he didn’t do it before the price increase here in Australia so it’s costing $398 to renew it 😭😭😭😭😭. So glad mine doesn’t expire until 2028 - I’ll need that long to save up for it
Ah, happy birthday to your daughter 🎉 It’s weird how time passes. Oscar is 13 this year… it makes no sense, I ordered a baby not a teenager 🤣 The cost of the passport 😱 Even with conversion that’s really expensive compared to ours!

My biggest success and at the same time my biggest frustration is our garden. I have been working on a major tidy up of our garden as it has been a bit neglected for the last few years due to the craziness that my life has been. I've managed to remove two very large bushes, but I have to take up our patio to remove a very invasive plant that a previous owner had planted, and I didn't know and because I've not been able to work in the garden I hadn't realised it had spread so much 🫣
Love the affirmation for this week. It is soooo true 💖💖 I would never have thought I was strong enough to get through what we have been through as a family the last 10 years, but here I am, still standing and somehow coping with whatever challenges come each day 😊❤

@budgetsdreams Thank you. Yes, unfortunately, there is quite a bit to be done. Although I don't have a "green thumb," like my mum, I do enjoy gardening. I just don't enjoy it on very hot days 🥵
