Hey guys, really great review and cool video, thanks for your work!! I'll go with the JBL: clearly the ability to use jack when battery is down gives those headphones a much bigger lifespan. Keep up the good work!
Just to give some news: I've been using my JBL since more than 1 year now and they work like a charm, Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable, sound quality is good, battery life is amazing: I charge the headphones once a month and use them 5 hours per day. The only con is that they are pretty heavy, so I need to take them off every two hours. But I recommend though!
@@TerryMarsault Tysm for updating, i have just a few questions if you dont mind answering, and i am pretty sure that'll also help a bunch of people. Does it really have low volume? Especially outside, or is it just enough. Does it isolate noise enough in most cases? How often do you need the app? Do you use supported Dolby atmos devices or notice a difference with them? Thanks again
@@WECLEYArtz Hi there, volume power is "just enough", didn't have to complain about it tbh. Sound isolation is not the best in the market but also "just enough". I've never used the app, always connected the headspeakers via Bluetooth on laptop, desktop computers and smartphones, works like a charm every time and never disconnects. I've used Dolby supported devices, there's a sligh difference, especially with stereo and basses but it's not incredible. Globally those headspeakers are OK but can be low quality in tiny audio details.
i've been using Sony WH-CH520 for a month now and i'm perfectly satisfied with them, with how they sound and how they feel on the head and ears. i mostly use them during the commute to and from work , which is about 1 hour in duration (2 hours total daily). i listen to a lot of different genres of music and they all sound good on Sony WH-CH520. in my country they cost 59€ , but i got them for 49€ because the seller has them on discount at the moment (actually i got them for free), while JBL Tune 720BT cost 79,99€, so i would recommend Sony WH-CH520 as good bang for buck

Ohh you are amazing, clear, transparent and entertaining. Thanks for the video! I bought the JBL ones, and haven't arrive yet so I'm glad I could calm the anxiety with you
Haven't tried the Sony's but as someone who wears glasses, I'd say avoid going with the JBL Tune/Live series headphones if you plan to use them for many hours daily. I wear headphones for more than 8 hours a day (at work). Been using the JBL Live 500BT and have been having chronic headaches for months. Realized only recently that I've been having compression headaches caused by them. The fit is snug and nice, but if you wear glasses it pushes the frame's arms into your temples, and after hours of use, it causes massive headaches. Using the stack of books method to expand or loosen the fit didn't work for me. Which says a lot about its build quality, it's really good! Gave them to a friend who doesn't wear glasses, and it works perfectly for her! Been about a month now, and she's never experienced any sort of headaches like I used to.
In my country this comparison is quite way off because the price difference is huge. The sony 520s retail for 40 euros and jbl 720bt retails for 99 euros and that’s the exact same price with the sony 720s that come with noise cancelling here.
Hey guys... first time on your channel. I love the way you double team the presentation. Going back and forth makes the video more interesting, Keep it up.
Would love a review of the new JBL flagship live 770nc. At the US big box stores the main choices are Bose, Sony, JBL. So it would be great to maybe one over the ear Tune and one top tear Live model.
Thank you so much for the honest and clear review, this is the information I needed before doing a purchase. Also, very nice editing! I became a suscriber
I prefer on ear rather than over ear, especially in summer or in the gym, when over ear cans is just too clunky, heavy, and uncomfortable to wear. The Sony is not only less expensive, better sound production, comfortable, and better for calls, but it is one of a few on ear headphones you can buy that ticks almost all of the boxes. I owned the WH510 which I purchased many years ago and still going strong in terms of battery life and built quality - had to change the ear pads once but that's it. Sony's for the win by a long shot, especially for those with bigger sized heads.
The problem with JBLs is when you have to replace the bearings that get damaged over time. With the Sony this operation is easier. And it's easier to find spare parts. The jbl tune 720bt deserve for battery life.
@@kingsleymonareng Hi! I haven't used them, so I can't answer your question. I use the JBL Tune 700BT, which are close to the JBL Tune 720BT and are good headphones, especially for the price paid.
