@@djedd23 Yes the XDJ-700 is supported by recordbox in HID mode. But you'd need a recordbox compatible Controller (or mixer) instead of the Serato one that he uses in the video
HID mode is a confusing thing. The XDJ-700s do in fact have HID mode but it's a question of whether Serato enabled it to be an official accessory. Check their website. If it's listed under "official accessories" then yes, you can use the XDJ-700. Last I heard the XDJ-1000MK2 isn't even supported. This is an issue with Serato holding line. You may want to contact them if you want the XDJ-700 to be supported, if it happens to be that they aren't.
@@priyonjoni Yeah, thats what I said: The XDJ-700 is supported in Recordbox HID but not in Serato, same with the XDJ-1000MK2 (which is really annoying)
DjKelly Flavour I’ll be honest, unlike Traktor, Serato doesn’t have the most customizable MIDI mapping. It’s simple button, knob, and fader assignments and that’s it. I would imagine mapping an F1 wouldn’t be much different from mapping let’s say a drum pad controller. And unlike in Traktor where you can assign knob stop points, curves, button lights, holds, releases; Serato is made simple for the regular folks. With that said, I don’t think there is anything I can show, that hasn’t been shown before. That’s why I don’t do too much with Serato and MIDI mapping. I think Serato also purposely made it that way so people won’t stray away from getting an official accessory item like an SP1.

@@DOZEMusic But it should work in rekordbox HID, no?
If I buy a ddj1000 I should be set? With a laptop?
Luis Beltran yes
Pri yon Joni thank you I was debating between ddj 1000 and da rx2 I'm new to pioneer I've been using demon cdjs lol
@@luisbeltran2662 theyre both really good,rx2 is standalone however the ddj 1000 mixer is standalone aswell which is really good for its price
Can we use turntables with this controller
He stated no DVS. Only HID will work.
What’s the hub you used to link the cdjs
It's a D-Link USB 2.0 hub.
How to do this with a CDJ 800 MK2
Not possible. It requires a CDJ that is HID capable and Serato supported.
@@priyonjoni i've seen people do this with this DVS thing
Can you shear some of your scratch samples?
here you go ua-cam.com/video/ves0Nhro1Vc/v-deo.html
Is this also possible with ddj rb and xdj 700
Yes that would work because I have a DDJRX with xdj 1000s and it’s works great!!

Can you do a video showing how to connect Traktor F1 with Serato Dj Pro
DjKelly Flavour that’s been done quite a few times over the years. Search it on UA-cam, I’ve seen some interesting mappings on it.
Pri yon Joni your right but everyone is different and I love the way your detailed information come across.
Pri yon Joni and also I subscribe to your channel to see you for a reason

Oye mi pana soy fiel a ti pero me gustaría que pusieras tus videos con audio en español te Ranquiarias en serio soy fan número 1tuyo y te pido que por favor lo hagas ya que en español no hay nadie que explique mejor qué tú
Like seriously?..sb3 doesn't support rekordbox?🤔
ROGZ 1999
I think it does
At the current moment only the SB1 and SB2 of the SB series work with Rekordbox. For current entry level controllers, the DDJ-400 is the main device.

Hello, have you ever taught a blind person to DJ? The reason why I am asking it because I am one of those people. I used to have vision before and I love to play music.I have CDJ-900 and a 900Nexus 2 how can a totally blind person play on these machines? I am afraid lol
why CDJ ? what is the point ? software this days goes so quick ... this hw brick become soon outdated ...so why to invest so much money ? wont be better to buy a bigger pro controller ?
Why should anyone experiment? Why have fun?
@@priyonjoni this i get ...but i do not see any point on investing into cdj hardware ...god controller with pc is imho a good relations and you save a planty of money . You already got them so you just have a fun and content .
This gear was loaned from my work so I could study them before an event. Would be a waste to use them and try things out.
Why
Because it was it was fun and enjoyable to do.
Why use a 4 possible deck setup just for 2 decks .just use the control unit dude 😂😊😁😁😂
If you actually watch the video, you will see that we weren't using it to control 4 decks. :)
@@priyonjoni that is exactly what i said ..use the 2 cdjs as extra instead of only an expensive jog wheel replacement
Laptop to..DJ JUST DONT MIX

do you know if you can add a rekordbox unlocked piece of hardware into a pair of cdj2000's and pioneer mixer to save the cost of paying the rekordbox licence fee yearly?
Yes
Would this still work with the DDJ FLX6 and a CDJ3000?
Yes
