#LoRa - Наука та технологія
It was my Final Year project in which I developed a Lora based Wireless Sensor Network for a Solar Plant Management. I successfully Implemented it in 130 MW Solar Plant and achieved 7 km of Range in open area and 2.6 km in urban. I implemented 42 LoRa Nodes, 5 Relay Nodes and 1 Master Gateway for communication. LoRa is really a future for WSN and IoT . Thank you for such a great video..
Hello man, can you plz tell us which LoRa module you have used? and how much is the transmission delay between note and gateway?
Can you provide lora node code
Those 7km were achieved using 5 relay nodes? How is range affected if you only use one relay note? Great project, very cool.
Great help...i worked on nRf modules in tranceiver mode and got the range around 400mtrs in urban area....I am searching for 20km range solution with minimum 2 video data transmitters and control channel....Any suggestion is appreciated! Thanks for this wonderful video.
Everytime when I'm studying about LoRa, I felt like, If I had a girlfriend and her home within a 5km range then I'll definitely make a device to text her 24x7. That will be free ,non-traceable and no need to think about service recharges. Unfortunately I don't have a gf.
hahaha
Untraceable only, if you would use an encryption otherwise the link is an easy target
How can we use this LoRa module?
@@parthbhandari619 use lora modules with Arduino. Find the appropriate libraries from internet make the changes you needed. You can observe the transmitting and receiving signals in serial monitor of your Arduino IDE. If you want to make it mobile, add Arduino compatible display and keyboard to the setup. You may need to download more libraries. If the inputs/output pins are not enough to build l, go with an I2C module. Adding more libraries may end up in shortage of program space, if this happens you need to upgrade the Arduino to a higher one. This is the low cost set-up. If you want to do it much better use a raspberry Pi board.
@@vijithviswambharan775 no I mean if we successfully make this what will be the application of this thing?
I like the way how you tell the mistakes you made
That helps a lot.
I love your energy man, your genuine passion bleeds into your work. Keep it up!
Thanks for such useful information! You walk through many issues that helps anyone to pay attention, or even avoid. You make it looks simple, that encourage me to try LoRa. Grateful, and subscribed
Thanks, guys for the genuine information. I am having two Lora modules for a long time but haven't hooked up yet.
Either I am working with mesh networking or the LoRa module, this guy is here to help. Thanks from Bangladesh.
Thank you for fully describing your setup and providing code examples! - quite a few LoRa range test videos and websites have just stated a distance, without giving the LoRa parameters used (i.e what spread factor, bandwidth, tx power etc.) to back up their claims.
Bro just cant thank you enough,
I wanted to buy a lora since long but was always confused for best range and now you saved my 1000 rupees as well as solved my problem.
Thanks a lot , may your all wishes come true and god shower all blessings on you
Thanks again
Your videos make me very happy. The sheer fun is contagious. Thx.
The best thing about techiesms is that he never hides mistakes. Also as a suggestion please provide links to resources that you found useful for a particular video.
There's never any links in the description hahaha
Amazing.. it is a totally new things for me and lots of things i get to know from this video..
Excellent informative video. Though I am an IoT expert and Architect in one of the big giant company and having some patents in both s/w and IoT industry solutioning, still I watch your videos regularly because you are just like me..love to know what you don't know and Passion of R&D.
Please keep it up.👏👏👏👍👍
Fascinating experiment. I hope to see more experiments with a Lora Gateway / AES ecryption etc... Thanks for sharing!
Nice video. Good to see you guys riding around with the LoRa module :) One thing, I believe LoRa's spreading factor is between 7-12 and not 6-12. I would be very interested to see some low power sensors deployed with the devices that you have and see some power numbers.
You reveling such a amazing and different product👍🔥
Well, you introduced me to this technology, Thanks bro.
Wow never been so Early and them this is my favorite subject as well! I was hoping you where gonna touch on it. And I hear another hero from me already Andreas Spies. Gonna watch with great pleasure
great project and wishing you all the best
Thanks Bro, cheers from Brazil!
Thanks very much for this vid
Very Very useful experiment on Long range for LoRa Module. Actually I was planning to make project on in it and this Experiment will help me... Thanks a Lot Sir
you just made a case study like video..amazing information you have given...please do more videos on Lora and tell us finally that which modules we can purchase because that soldering and replacing that chip is not seems easy. thank you for sharing such a nice information.
Thanks for conclusion...☺️
Love it!
this is the best channel , period
Awesome!
Great efforts bro, I realy appreciate the way ur doing...
How can we use this LoRa module?
Amazing Video Brother 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice!!
Waw. Very informative video.
You better start making more lora videos as it's getting more popular in the US and UK. 😊
Same thing happened to me with trying to solder the wires to the first board. I had two of the solder pads just drop off.

Initially watching the video I do feel something is going wrong but wait let's just complete the video.
I think mistakes teach us the most valuable things and thanks for sharing them.
Really appreciate your efforts.
Thanks a lot sir..
Most welcome
Amazing video nicely explained out clearly your difficulties faced and how to overcome it , and we await the exiting projects out of it soon ., Ad you said 433Mhz is a frequency which is prohibited almost all places ., Thanks for the video .,
Such a amazing journey. Matlab soch hi liya tha k LoRa ka hi video banana hai .. so after this many mistakes you still went up and achieved the signal. Great efforts 🙌
Yeah
Very Great team, great video, great explanation and everything so really great, Thank u so so very very much n God bless u all always........
Thank you 😊
Just keep supporting keep loving 🥰
Great project 👌.
Make some interesting projects using LoRa. Waiting..
Oh yeah! Thanks for the 433 MHz info about India! I was going to do the same ! Good thing you realised before moving any further and I realised before beginning! :D
Love your videos, very educational. However, I am a MSc chemistry guy and don't really know much about programming. Can you make one video covering the very basics of arduino interface? I really don't know where to start when it comes to the program part of these projects. Thank you, much appreciated
Amazing project sir . I have a doubt can we transmitter Vidoe via AV output pin in camera and transmit the video signal and receiver via receiver ? For drone purpose
thank u
Great bro i think within 2 year you will be the master of iot and other project on UA-cam 👍🏼👍🏼💚💚👍🏻👍🏻
dude great video but I would ask you to re-watch {LoraWAN: Extremely long-range, low power wireless communication
} from Marco Reps he got the range of 2 km, not 20km (listen carefully at 4:01 mark ) and U will only get 20 KM with a directional antenna & if lucky as there are too many variables
Thanks a lot very helpful information.. We can use 868Mhz frequency in India?
There are lots of things that can be done to improve range. Yes, line of sight is one of the most important things. But you should also consider that signal gets lost and reflected on each connector and low quality antenna. The video of Andrea Spiess, he showed how you can improve range by increasing gain in the receiver, because increasing transmission power in the transmitter is not allowed by law.
Great
Nice video
In September 2012 the 433MHz band in India was delicensed for output power of upto 10mW or 10dBm. The RA-02 can be programmed to work under this restriction I believe
Hi there, I suggest you to use high gain antenna and low bit rate to increase receiving sensitivity. Then you will have much more distance. Calculate the link budget to estimate the distance. All the best. Comment from Sri Lanka.
I think the link budget is 154
This kind of modules are good for farms that are huge and have lots of data to collect from soil like moisture etc much more
Good experiments! Try some different antennas (directional types) and tell us how it goes!
Hey 👋, great project, love to do it,could you please also make a project like a walkie-talkie or a Morse code transceiver using LoRa?,that would be great, thanks
The lower the rssi is it the longer the signal takes to get to the receiver, therefore sensitive to time sensitive application where you want the device to receive the message at a particular time intervals?
u deserve more subs
If you want to have more distance , you should take care about the fresnal zone of the antenna.
Thanks a lot!!, very helful information we retreive from you and your team work! =* (Kisses!!).
awesome Vedio
Hi Could you conclude what frequencies will work in India ,If we purchasing 868 MZ lora gateway and Lora node with 868 MHz ,Will it be allowed as per Indian standard(865-867MHz)
Very helpful video.. thanks bro..so 433 mhz we cannot use and need to go for 867 mhz..i need to send temp data and water level reading using wireless.. Thanks for information.
i also have tested this with RA02 module ( 433 Mhz) with 3Dbi Antena in ground level. i could transmit 350 meters. I agree with your video. That's thrue.
Are the transmitter module and receiver module are same??
Hi could you tell me or make video to increase range of esp32 camera as webserver connected as a access point so that I could use it as a fpv for my drone I want minimum range of 150 m.
what is the syntax of code for getting int value using lora? i found problem while getting integer value.
Hi bro
which is the best outdoor lorawan gateway.
how to select an outdoor lorawan gateway
Is it possible to make the Lora module work as a Tx and Rx simultaneously
I have developed
Lora based agriculture sensing product which have 4 km of range with RFM95w lora chip module 6 month 18650 battery life and 10 min deep sleep time product is in final stage for production
may i know what kind of low power microcontroller u used ??
@@antojslinjijo4596 STM32
@@s.husain6125 looking intresting with single cell li-ion battery can withstand 6 months its awesome bro.
may i know about your project abstract bcoz i am developing some balance charge baterry charging circuit so just get intrested into yours.
I would like to learn your agricuture project!
Very good video sir.... We are thankful to not make these mistakes again
High gain antennas will get longer range ,and even more range with a signal booster ,
i used lora ra02 and got a range around 5 km in open area
Bahot hard sms bro
Good dear how to send multiple sensor values please update thanks in advance
Is lora suitable for short range settings like an apartment building with no line of sight? Can it pass through walls?
Can it be used for an alarm system for my motorcycle?
@techiesms bro I ordered the same module that you ordered but... before watching your video.. and now I'm worried about how to solder the pins. Can you give any solution on that pleeeeeeaaasseee...🙏🙏
LAP E01 voice transciver device.it uses LoRa.along with it which module here used?can you plz tell me
Nice project and good video quality!!!
Consider using a lavalier microphone, to cut down on the echo of the room, since it makes understanding you harder 😉
None sight of line 500meter which module is best
Hello, i need send data in a city, between two radios, using transparent mode, 9.6k and 115200, what radio do You recommend?
Sir, can you test the range of LORA with at least 40 bytes of alpha-numeric data? it would be helpful for my experiment.
It is possible to limit the range of LoRa to a specific range of distance using microcontrollers.?
How can we use delay function in Blynk? Because blink restricts using delay.
Sir i am using lora sx1278 for my home agriculture purpose. But while i buying it showed its range as 5km,but it's not even crossing 300meters,please help me sir....
3 km is not so bad, bro! Compared to the now old school nrf, this is a whole new game
Bro what about lora sx1278 and sx1276 modules with arduino or raspberry pi
Try to make a lora controlled relay using blynk or cayenne..which can be used to control valves ..very useful in agriculture
Also tell us more about lorawan
Kya baat hai Bhai......tum Kar lete ho to lgta h ab humse bhi ho jaega
433mhz is allowed in india but you can't use full duplex communication you can't transmit and receive at same time but you can either transmit or receive and lora is half duplex in most cases and that loraWan receiver are Full duplex and need permission to install
Can we use it in commercial products without certification from LORA which cost more than device development cost itself.
868Mhz is also not license free in India..chk at 7.29 in video. Is it possible to tune the freq between 865-867 Mhz for this module ?
no it is not. "The use of low power Equipment in the frequency band 865 - 867 MHz for (RFID) Radio Frequency Identification Devices (Exemption from Licensing Reququirement" as per GSR No. 37(E)dated 10-Jan-2007 of WPC
Can I use nano audruno for this work?
I want to create a Lora mesh network on how to do with Lora? is it possible for Lora to work like a multihop?
im using the lora with an ESP32, and your code, but what's mean the A1 variable ?
Is there any device to increase the mobile signal
Can you do a project on LIDAR?
Bro can we use 868 MHz in India?? Is it legal because they mentioned only 865-867 MHz allowed..
Please do more projects on lora
U should hold the antenna in vertical position
Hello bro, how is the LoRa range through the walls?
