@@trentlothringer2867 everything she did this season was not produced in one unintentional wreck. Give credit where credit is due and be reasonable. It's not like these cars have side mirrors. I am sure she hated that incident going like it did.
Right Mcdermand and Kreisel almost had cars drive directly through top of them. I've been in serious wrecks and seen serious wrecks happen. There's not many times I look away for a wreck, but this one made my stomach turn upside down.
There was no reason it should've been that big either....those last few cars were in Turn 3 when it started.....They had time and chose to keep their foot in it until it was too late.....Glad no one was hurt, it was ugly...
@@Fitch93 To a point yes and no, other cars can block your view and the brakes are absolutely garbage on these cars. Which is how the cars/brakes are designed. The brakes are designed to drive the car, not stop it. If you see something in front of you, it's going to be more effective to try to spin the car out, instead of just hit the brakes. Basically if you see something in front of you and you have decent speed, you're hitting it. So Chase is upside down at 0:24.5-0:25, I can promise you most cars behind the wreck can't see it. Especially since he's already upside down and bottom of his car is black. (From inside the car, black cars can be pretty hard to see at night.) The car farthest back at this point is just getting into #4 at the Toyota sign. About 0:25.5 when there's more cars piled in, the cars in the back might start seeing something happening since the #19 of Kreisel is in the air. At 0:25.75-0:26 is when the back cars are probably noticing there's decent wreck. There's only about 5-6 cars behind the wreck now. That orange car in the back, I can almost promise he doesn't see much of the wreck until about 0:26, you have to remember he is ground level and behind several car and also watching for the car below him, to make sure that car isn't coming up. He then hits at 0:26.5-0:27 which isn't very much time. You can see several of them get hard in the brakes and spin the car sideways. Orange car is one of them, but it's not going to do much. That all black looks like #32, got extremely lucky, that was the best scenario for him, is try to crank it sideways as you can. Once you get sideways enough, hope you have enough wheel speed to keep the engine fired and try to throttle away. That being said the from Chase being sideways to the last car making contact is only about 4 seconds. (This isn't a shot at you, just giving you another angle for you. Also wanted to give you a perspective from someone that has raced for quite a few years.) It's very easy to watch from a camera perspective from the stands that's elevated to think "Man why are there cars coming in super fast, it's like they're only looking 2ft in front of them" When In reality the drivers especially in the back are only seeing a 1/4 of what you're seeing.
Been seeing a lot about the Jade girl today with her signing a Toyota development deal, google her and her causing a 15 car pileup on the first lap of a race is the first thing that comes up 😂
Everyone who doesn't like good hard racing where neither driver was at fault but crap happens... Go watch nascar where they have spotters and be bored to death. There is a reason dirt is more exciting than nascar... And sometimes it goes wrong but most of the time these talented drivers get it right. Ready for 2024 season.
That was not Jade's fault Mcdermond was high and trying come back down thus causing his left front to contact Jade's right rear! Congratulations to Jade and the 71 team on a hard fought championship down 180 points at one time! No give up and it goes to show how much passion she has for winning!
Unpopular opinion but she didn't clear the slider and wrecked a lot of iron. I wanted her to win the title but McDermond was going to win the race. No need for that lap 1

That is crap because this series races harder than any other and most of the time when they make contact they keep going. Incredible talent in this series. Your perspective is flawed... Don't let one racing incident where neither of two initial drivers did anything wrong ruin it for you. It's going to happen from time to time. This series has become my favorite even over World Of Outlaw Sprints because of how intense the racing is. Good hard racing that is not reckless.
Ain't nothing wrong with what jade did in that race. Happens in every race. Everybody in the field drives like that every night if they think they have a car that will win. They all do it

Do you think you would just coast until 10 to go? Nope. Crap happens. Looks like she was clear for a moment. Go look at all the crazy contact between cars in the last two races and see if you don't see others racing the same way. Great job Jade and congrats! Don't listen to the criticism.
