Believe me, that ridiculous fan base gonna doing plenty of back-patting and coping, when the reality the turnovers were the only reason these losers were even competitive. There’s a reason these clowns are 1-5 against the browns. The browns!! KCs C game is their A game. And Burrow is basically Tannehill. Lol
There's a lot of problem spots with this team so far: LT, lack of WR depth, lack of run game now that Pacheco's gonna be out for a while, Kelce underperforming, Bolton underperforming, CB2. But the big takeaway from these two weeks should be: no matter how ugly the game is, Chiefs will find a way to win. They've done it against two of the top teams in the AFC, and they're gonna keep doing it the whole season.
This game reminded me of the 2021 AFC championship game where our running game was very effective and damn near controlling the game in the 1st half and then in the 2nd half we completely go away from the run game and no coincidence, we end up struggling. We didn't deserve to win this game. We were outplayed and more importantly Andy Reid was out coached yet again by Cincinnati. I tip my cap to coach Zac Taylor and d.c. Lou anaroumo
We are good because our record for last 6 seasons. We didn’t have good game today but 2-0 is good. We didn’t play good and we still won! Look at the bright side.
I agree with Nick. It's gonna be pretty tough to 3-peat unless KC adds some smashmouth to their game. Yes. Reid wants to leave his tackles on an island more than I probably would. OTOH, Kingsley didn't seem to know where his help was, or how best to play, given that help. The Cam Taylor pick, that's on Mahomes for not playing keep-away. It was like he was throwing it to Worthy, rather than putting it beyond Taylor and hoping Worthy can go get it. I think he just underestimated the high-pointing ability of Taylor. KC has a good D and good secondary, but there are some individual players on the Cincy D that are better than the guys KC is facing on the practice field. Nick left out the fact that Taylor also left the ground. His ability to elevate at the far end of that route was also part of it. KC has a pair of corners who are also hard to throw over: Williams and Watson. I think they surprised Burrow a time or two in past meetings, because he's used to fitting those throws over shorter corners to his big receivers. KC took a swipe at that tactic in the 2022 draft.
It’s week 2 and we had similar talk last season then you all said will never doubt again!!😂😂😂😂Now these talk back again:”Kelce is not the same”, maybe Andy doesn’t want to show his card till the playoffs like last year?! 😂. A lot of fans bad talked Bolton last week now he played good this game. My point is be patient and 6 AFC wins and 3 SB rings are no coincidence! Todays game is not a good game but calm down
I honestly think Patrick had one of his worst games in a Chiefs uniform. There were other guys open, and he just didn’t see them or he refused to look their way. The first pick was just inexcusable, but the second one…I agree with Matt that he just needs to put the ball out there more for Worthy to run under it. IMO it was definitely a bad throw. If there’s anything we know about 15 is that he knows how to bounce back, so no doubt he bounces back.
Chiefs fan have to RELAX! We ran the ball down the throat of the Bengals. They had NO ANSWER for it. If not for 2 silly INTs by Mahomes that game is a blowout!! I understand they played with their food like they always do and it didn’t happen. But it wasn’t because they got outplayed. They shot themselves in the foot! The offense has moved the ball at will the first two weeks. With Pop out Mahomes will have to tighten up and play cleanly because the ball will be in his hands way more. Outside of Williams getting absolutely SHOOK by AI the defense was solid considering the TOs they were up against. There are definite spots that have to be improved but this is us at the WORST! We’re 2-0, Bengals and Ravens 0-2!! We’re 3 up on them before the quarter pole and will only get BETTER!! Kingsley got his ass handed to him but Hendrickson is one of the most underrated players in the league. He’s taking his lumps early and will be better for it later. The offense has been creative and fun while also being pretty vanilla by Big Red standards. Spags is already in his bag, dialed up the Connor blitz at the perfect time!! Araiza is an absolute monster and Butker is still NAILS! Plenty to improve on but with the biggest target in the league on our back we aren’t folding. The division isn’t going to be a problem again this season. So we just get to practice for when the real football starts in January!
Would like to see what % Rice lined up outside vs in the slot this game. In game 1 Rice looked like a guy that was going to work in the space in the middle that Kelce created. His big play this game came on a go ball. Without that go ball he was only 4 rec at 7.75 a catch. What is his win % in the slot vs outside and is there a lack of talent on the outside with the Brown injury that’s forcing them to kick Rice out there more than they planned to? Obviously, we can’t say definitely without the empirical evidence (only watched the live tv broadcast) but I think the offense would look a lot different with Trav and Rice working the middle vs Rice outside and Kelce having to find space in the middle on his own. (Also, agreed on Gray. He had 2 bad ones back to back and he’s not that great of a receiver to have those issues.)
Relax…We have seen this before . Chiefs do as little as possible to win regular season games. They just need enough wins to get into the playoffs, and they know it.
Loved seeing th powr run, but not giving up on it in short yardage. Why not throw it up to your 6'7 TE ??? They used him HEAVILY in camp when I was there...with the 1's.

Which side were you on during the great debate of was Kingsley good or bad after week one? Was a lot of pushback to ledyard and Schwartz saying Kingsley had a bad game. Can’t pushback after week 2
It looked to me that he "got by" in week one, but yesterday "wasn't great" as Vederame might say, but he's a 2nd round rookie put out there against a probowl level pass rusher. I'm sure he learned a few things. Lol.
Schwartz was pretty generous, I thought. He was pretty encouraged by how Kingsley did, because there was nothing there that wasn't fixable, and he expects it will be fixed.
Matt I have to ask this simple question. Can you explain why it seems so difficult to score points nowadays. I remember from 2018 to 2022 that mahomes would consistently put up 325 yards and multiple touchdowns every single game. Mahomes has not played at that level since last year against LA chargers . People get on me for saying this but kc misses bieniemy and his discipline. I’m sick of watching the Chiefs struggle every week on offense it’s getting old my friend.
so the timeline you used is the same time when Mahomes was at his rookie deal with minimal cap hit, not an expert but spreading his cap hit by 2022 to now will increase so much more opportunity for him to play better. In my opinion, this is exactly why he is considered great, although that cap hit, he is still winning. Just imagine having an elite LT and upgraded version of Brown as WR with the current roster.
The chiefs are the focal point of almost every defensive coordinator especially in the AFC. Hour and hours of film goes into trying to stop this chiefs offense.
I understand your frustration and I have same question. But with 6 AFC titles and 3 SB rings, that is the goal! Last year, many fans lost hope and talked really bad about this team then at the end, They won SB, and they were looking like a different team in play off game.
Mahomes plays hos worst and Burroughs plays his best everytime it seems! Love him but gotta call him out cause i thought those kind of bad picks were way behind him. If you want to be the best you cant have those kind of picks.
