This car is awesome man ! and makes my old 2009 6.2 CLS 63 AMG look like its in the dark ages ! LOL
The boost screen is actually customizable, but no matter how many screens my e43 has, still not gonna beat the cls63...

Goldilocks car. Fast enough, cheaper and lighter than the E63. Sounds good and better mpg than the E63. I'd like to test drive an E63 but I think I'd prefer to own an E43.

Why are there so many negative comments about such a beautiful car? I'm thinking of getting one of these. Are people really this petty? Or is it just BMW fanboys with tiny wieners. If anyone tries to race me I'll let them take off as I calmly drive to the business I own while they get a ticket, arrested, or into an awful accident. I want an e class but don't want 4 cylinder. The comments give the idea that someone who owned this car would be looked down on because it's not an E63 or an M5. I'm assuming they would call these people democrats.

I don't understand. Mercedes says: "401 PS @ 6100/min". Okay. Now, 401 PS is 295 kw.
Now check the boost-o-meter:
1:21 - 5.500 rpm = 272 kw = 370 hp - SHIFT
1:22 - 6.000 rpm = 290 kw = 394 hp - SHIFT
1:24 - 6.100 rpm = 294 kw = 399 hp - SHIFT
1:29 - 6.200 rpm = 295 kw = 401 hp - SHIFT
It needs to shift 4 times, before it reaches it max. hp??
My E400 reaches max. hp at 5.200 rpm, that's like 40 km/h. Then it shifts at 6.100 and falls back to 4.500.
Now I dont understand at 1:26: Needle drops to 4.600 rpm, but kw is still on 294 (399,7 hp).
Then: 5.000 rpm. Still 294 kw.
Then: 5.500 rpm. Still 294 kw.
Then: 5700 rpm. 289 kw (392 hp).
Then: 6.000 rpm. 293 kw (398 hp).
Then: 6.200 rpm. 294 kw (399,7 hp). - SHIFT
Then: 4.700 rpm. 295 kw (401 hp).
Then: kw-boost-o-meter fills up, but display remains on 295 kw, lol.
Then: 6.200 rpm. 295 kw.
Looks like a delay or something. To be honest. I don't understand it.

Maybe inside, BMW sounds different, after all it has an i6 instead of v6 in this car, also remember that BMW puts a lot of the sound through the speakers

Even though i hate mercedes cars, too similar to each other, their 6 cylinders sound nice though, BMW i6 just sounds bad. And i didn't know that Merc put their sound through speakers as well, sounded pretty accurate unlike BMW's system, but still, what a shame...
Not E43 AMG, this is a AMG E43. Mercedes amg cars say first amg and model number. First model number and amg is finished since 2014-2015

It has even been measured against the new E for ride quietness and the 5 emitted less decibels which says alot. It has more tech rides softer handles better has better build quality and has better performance than the E. Oh and it looks miles better. The E looks just like the C class lmao. As for your pics? why mercedes why?? they shouldn't have called these half baked cars amgs. E450 would have been suitable. imagine driving this going head to head with 540i or maybe loosing against a 240i. its not good for AMG brand. what will people say. an amg got raped by a normal non M bmw.!!!!!

Exactly. Especially because bmw undersells their real horsepower. Im not a mercedes hater in fact i even love it but its to expensive so i got me a BMW 340i instead and guess what. I raped the shit out of a e43 amg. (On the dyno my car got 367 hp instead of 326-stock)
