We even had conversations of cheating and things that have happened to me and this person still kept straight faces lying about having someone else. I really thought we got along perfectly but now knowing truth, he was just saying all the right things to make it seem like we had many commonalities.

I’ve let exes, family, friends come back a few times after a disagreement and a few months later it’s the same bullshit, stop talking to them again for the same reason I did in the first place.
