Man. This episode made me tear up as the topic was a little too close for comfort. I lost my father to suicide when I was 8 months old. I spent a lot of time resenting him. I forgave him but even at 35 years old it still hurts not knowing or having my biological father in my life. I wanted to celebrate Father’s Day with him. I use to be jealous of little girls with their dads. I blamed myself for his death. Man suicide hurts not only the person who commits the act but those around them. 😢

Man. This episode made me tear up as the topic was a little too close for comfort. I lost my father to suicide when I was 8 months old. I spent a lot of time resenting him. I forgave him but even at 35 years old it still hurts not knowing or having my biological father in my life. I wanted to celebrate Father’s Day with him. I use to be jealous of little girls with their dads. I blamed myself for his death. Man suicide hurts not only the person who commits the act but those around them. 😢
I'm so sorry, that sounds like a terrible thing to go through. I guess when we lose the ones we love most, it's a good time to appreciate everyone that we still have. I don't know you but you seem like an incredibly strong person to have to go through that.
