I don't think I'll ever take for granted having seen Kershaw pitch with my own eyes at Dodgers Stadium. We're truly lucky to have this man on our team.

Not so fun fact - the game I saw him in was his last start of 2021. The one where he walked off the field with his ball in hand.

I've seen him pitch in Dodger stadium and in San Francisco. He won both games and the one in San Francisco was especially fun because he dominated them and the fans were super pissed on the way out. Kershaw is the best. Go Blue!

At one point, years ago, watching Clayton Kershaw & wanting to see how his career turned out was the only thing keeping me here. Honestly, it's pathetic & sad to think about, but it's true. Glad to still be alive to watch a great man do great things.

I've been a Dodger fan for 35 years... I cried watching this! My dad is in his mid 60's and has had the pleasure of watching a lot of the Dodger greats the Kershaw passed up! So special! Kershaw is the Koufax of my generation!

Kershaw is better than Koufax. Sandy agrees, so that means it is fact.

Just clicked play - time to cry.
    EDIT:
And it had me sobbing by the end. I've never had such an emotional attachment to any player I've ever watched in my 39 years of existence. Kersh feels like a family member. He's gave everything to the Dodgers and us fans know it. We know there was a stretch of 4-6 years where the team was literally on his back and would be nowhere near what it was without him... and for that we are forever grateful.
I've never visited Cooperstown and the HOF before, but my wife has already given me permission to someone procure tickets to Clayton's induction ceremony when he is inducted and I will visit the HOP when Clayton Edward Kershaw walks through their doors.
It has been an absolute joy and honor to watch this man pitch, and I am so glad it was in my family's favorite sports team.
    😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was there in person. Glad I was able to witness a historic moment from my favorite Dodger player. I would respect if he chooses to go play with the Rangers after this season but I definitely believe he should retire as a Dodger. Anyone agrees? Go Dodgers!!

Not only is Clayton Kershaw my favorite Dodger ever. He is my favorite ball player ever. To see him as a pudgy kid wearing number 54 in his debut. To becoming the the player and man he became has been an absolute honor. Thank you for everything. As a life long Dodger fan I'm 36 it's been honor. Seeing him run in after the last pitch of the 20' world series with his hands in the air made me cry then and tear up now. What he has meant to this franchise can never be understated.

He never choked. He took the L's but you can't call yourself a Dodger fan and say he choked. Talk about all the pressure he had on his back and not once did he ever complain about it. There is a great saying I love. "There is defeat in victory and victory in defeat" and he is the epitome of that. He got his ring he has nothing to prove to anyone

@@airt698 since you want to sling diapers how long? I've been a fan for 37 years. And even then it's easy being a fan when the team is winning a real fan is there regardless. And you act like it was all his fault. The offense put up a lot of 0's on his behalf. So when Mariano lost games he choked? Or anyone else? You have to see how that's a weak take. And why can't you give the Mets and Cardinals their just due?

Even Kershaw would tell you this is unacceptable buddies, so the Data says he's a choker and my eyes tell me he was a choker in the Postseason. So I stand by my statements, I love him as a Dodger we have been blessed but he was not the Iconic Pitcher we needed in the Postseason by a mile.

When Clayton threw his no-hitter in June of 2014, he and Ellen didn’t have any children yet. It’s surreal to see them with their beautiful family now. Eight years passed by in an instant.
Now, please bring him back in 2023 and let us witness his 3000th strikeout.
