Thank you very much, Jean. As I look back at timing, I am considering that G2000/272 diesel in green rather than the 66. Based on the pictures you sent me, I might find a 66 in Europe yet.
6:30 one of these is in the museum in Neustadt a/d Weinstrasse, but with a DB type tender. The one here has a Neubautender which identifies it as a DR unit. 7:45 for era 6 you can have a Beilhack self propelled unit. 8:15 this is the better looking version of the G2000, these also exist with asymmetrical cabs for better viewing when driving in reverse. 11:13 Bavarian type designations are quite simple: the letter is the type of service (S, P or G) and the number sequence is number of driven axles and total axle count with the division sign between. So this is a 'S zwei sechstel'. 13:45 this is one of the more boring SBB Cargo schemes, the Railcolor designs (with the mountain landscape) are way more interesting. 14:50 the country list is related to the safety equipment that is present on the chassis. Roco solves that by adding a bag with all possible sensors and leaves the correct combination to the end user.
Hi, Ivo... thanks for the info. Of course, colors and liveries are a personal taste. I do love the mountain liveries, but it does not change (for me) the appeal of the standard livery on a Vectron. Mind you, my favorite was the Aachen 272.
It was interesting, for sure, but I am about to expand my train and stock collection in an insane way. I hope I might still add something from this catalog, though.
Hello Anthony! I hope you're well Interesting announcements from Marklin. Especially the 294 shunter and the tank car set. Have a great weekend All the best
Hi, Greg! It was a nice mix of new and old units... a bit of something for the Marklin world. I did not look at the Trix N-gauge catalog. That might be interesting.
Hiya Anthony What a fantastic Review . WOOOOOWWWW those Vectrons are Ace . Really do love the swiss 193 in Classic SBB Cargo livery looks like the 482 . Got to keep my eye out for that one ( In N of course ) After buying my first Swiss Vectron ( Shadowpiercer )
Whoa hey Anthony That snow and ice is pretty neat...trix model? Meaning dc right...very tempting indeed. That look so fraking cool. Hope your alright? Watched part of live stream. Theres also massive floods in Poland too at moment .. There calling it big water 2024. Some nice stuff in the fall cat. Take care and i will treat myself to a rhomboid t shirt once there in your shop 😊
@TobiasL1000 I am not sold on ESU. I have had a couple, and neither are great runners. I know many folks think they are amazing, and they do look fantastic, but I have not been impressed with mine, especially for the higher price.
I'm just getting into the European side of the HO scale hobby with the Trix sets I've just ordered over the past couple days. Having to try and research how European railways worked back in the Era 3 time period.
😆 I'm not familiar with any of the eras, so I have to learn regardless. I'm just hoping that my research is right and that I can run my Trix rolling stock on the same layout I run my US stuff on.
Great review Anthony! It’s great they keep making modern era liveries to keep the modern modeller interested ! The 66 will be amazing . Not sure on the smoke unit though… BTW did a cuckoo fly into your basement at 13mins 50seconds ? 😆
We do have a cuckoo clock in the kitchen. This catalog was a solid mix of modern and older eras. I do like the 66, but the 272 is suddenly calling me more.
I have the SNCF 141R on order, not sure if the cars are correct, they look like re-printed DR cars (I have plenty of other cars to go with it). And I definitely don't need another Flying Scotsman...
Hi Anthony, the blue VT92.5 is fiction, but realy nice design. I'm struggeling to order or not. I have the red one as it was in reality. The class 272 is very nice design, but freight train 😉 The class 66 I don't like the design, even it drives thru Oberhausen. The S2/6 is horrible nice museum model. (looking forward if my wife recognize this for x-mas) The Ee 3/3 I have an older version, that is okay.🥱 The SBB and the CD Vectron are realy nice. 🤩 märklin Taurus usualy have a poor sound compared to Roco. So I never by a märklin Taurus again till they improve their sound.🤬 The ÖBB Coaches are nice, got a lot old of them. 😎 The green cargo you see in Germany very often. French steam loco I usualy stay away, cause I do not have coaches for this. The set of three is to short British or US locos are the same - aliens on my floor layout.👽 The catalog 1933 I will buy - love the design. 😍 The other scale I'm not interested in. 😂😅😂
Thanks for your thoughts and sharing these new releases with us! (Dave).
Thanks for watching!
@@ModelTrainOutsider Your welcome.
Very nice run true, Anthony great video, thanks for the information.😊

I just love those German steam engines. I would love to go see the Marklin museum. Thanks for sharing. Dave
The Museum is fantastic. I do have a video of the visit from 2023.

Cool look, I like the vt92 rail car. Thanks Anthony

Some cool trains there thanks for sharing and have a great weekend
Thanks for watching!
Appreciate the post, Anthony. Trains, I'd really never see any other way.🚂🙋
I enjoy catalogs, no matter whose. Trains, toys, etc.
I like the 4-4-4...really unusual.
It was quite a mix of locos, a lot of East German stuff, but still a nice variety of places and eras.
great vlogs on the new vid on channe lot cool new things thanks lee
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello Anthony!
I hope you're well
Interesting announcements from Marklin.
Especially the 294 shunter and the tank car set.
Have a great weekend
All the best
Hiya, Deano. We are well. I hope you are as well. I am liking the 66 and the 272... along with the tankers.
Great video, Anthony! Thanks for the information! You have a great weekend, okay?
Thanks for watching!
Hi Anthony great video of the catalog I am almost very tempted on some of the items . Regards Greg
Hi, Greg! It was a nice mix of new and old units... a bit of something for the Marklin world. I did not look at the Trix N-gauge catalog. That might be interesting.
Get one...Get one...class 66 that is. It would look great running on your layout.
It's in the plans... but, which one! I also like that 272!

I agree, the Vectron in SBB Cargo is very cool. I liked the G2000/272 as well as the 66. Always something nice to like in a catalog.

Both companies
Yup saw thery were releasing it. I knew youd get rught in it. 😊 I know you are excited
Yes, I always look forward to the catalogs to see if there is something special or interesting for me!
I think the class 66/77 from ESU are better. And they are even AC or and DC

That's why I try to stick to Era VI... something I am familiar with. lol
😆 I'm not familiar with any of the eras, so I have to learn regardless. I'm just hoping that my research is right and that I can run my Trix rolling stock on the same layout I run my US stuff on.

Yes, I do not need the other Scotsman. I think it is a mistake to release the repaint. Put the effort into matching cars, and perhaps try the Mallard.
@@ModelTrainOutsider Fully agree, but then again, the ones that really care have so many high quality products to choose from Hornby (not).

Scotsman again without coaches…..I have the green one. Don’t need a second Scotsman.
@@TobiasL1000 That's how I feel.
