Great comparison. I play on a Legion 5 Gaming Laptop with an 8GB 3070 RTX, and while it handles most things on really high settings well, it's interesting to see that it can play a graphically intensive game like Wukong on high at 1080p with a consistent 51-60fps. 1080 has always been enough for me and I've never seen much reason to go higher, so this has been an informative video and means I can buy Wukong with confidence. DLSS is amazing, though. Thanks for the vid. :)
This game is really beautiful only with full ray tracing even with upscaling on 50%, but the rt need to be set on very high and with fps cap unlocked, this way frame time is reduced and lag is less
Because this game lets you select what resolution you can scale the DLSS from. Normally Quality/Balanced/Performance mode would dictate that but this game gives you control over the specific scaling. 50% is essentially scaling from to 1080p to 4k and 100% is already 4k, but comes with the benefits/downsides that DLSS brings when it alters an image (You cannot turn it off, only replace DLSS with FSR/XESS/TSR).

Third Test - Cinematic Preset, 100 FSR (native), Frame Generation OFF, RT off, gave me an average of 39 FPS with 30 minimum Fourth Test - Very High Preset, 100 FSR (native), Frame Generation OFF, RT off, gave me an average of 45 FPS with 38 minimum Fifth Test - Very High Preset, 75 FSR, Frame Generation OFF, RT off, gave me an average of 57 FPS with 47 minimum Sixth Test - Medium Preset, 100 FSR, Frame Generation OFF, RT off, gave me an average of 75 FPS with 62 minimum It's still looks very playable at Very High 1440p even in the 40 FPS range, but the game benefits tremendously from FSR and Frame Generation where i'm getting a little more than double the FPS. Edited to correct a minimum FPS figure, and added some additional test
Fifth Test - Very High Preset, 75% FSR, Frame Generation OFF, RT off, gave me an average of 57 FPS with 47 minimum Side note, the way FSR is applied in this game so far doesn't look bad at all, no obvious FSR style artifacts, no shimmering (such as how FSR in Horizon Zero Dawn causes the Grass to choose violence), just upscaling.
