- In this episode I introduce project F Bomb and talk about what's been done so far and what some of the future plans are for this pickup. I install code 504's fuel tank kit, install the pickup box, and clearance the box to fit the wheels.
i put a 96 explorer rear axle in my 51 Ford F1...used the same Springs from the Explorer, did a Bronco II EFI tank. Had to create shock brackets for top of shock, used stock shock plates on bottom of the Explorer rearend. Pictures to come.... Same tires that you have lol

Got a 48 F1. It's sitting on an S10 frame. It's done old school. I'm in the process of trying to redo the mounts. 350 350 turdo.lol. I'm following you.

Thank you! I believe its a 1988 s10 frame.
That frame will definitely not handle the h.p. .
A 383 stroker bends them up easily. 😮
A nice 12 point cage should stiffen everything up.
Sacrilegious. Explorer chassis is almost identical wheelbase. I put my 49 F1 on a 98 Explorer chassis with 5.0L and AWD. Modified the dash and A/C to fit. Chevy and Ford shouldn't be mixed like this. Just my opinion. Oh well, you can't please everyone right? At least your doing something, most people just sit around on their ass. Good luck with it.
