So why is Alexander still (appearing) so underrated, just for not blowing up his character like staying in the background in some manner, being too professional? some marks spot his headgear "thinking" that's some "lame" roman or greek wrestling guy? i mean you gotta give a guy a few seconds to show his skills, i don't get the mentality of some "marks".
Alexander is a great contrast in that they competent eachother well. Osprey is at that level where he can really elevate other people's work. I feel like aussie open got so much better from working with him.
He's incredible. Even if he signs with AEW, he'll still be able to wrestle for TNA and NJPW. I don't see him going to WWE, because that would take so many options away from him. WWE also has a habit of nerfing talent, which has always confused me. Why would you sign one of the best wrestlers because of their talent and their in-ring ability and completely change their style and change their name? So dumb.

I love the fact he uses the ankle lock but he doesn't look like he quite torks it enough or puts emphasis on it at least, but im used to angles ankle lock. Just a fan love the match.
You do this all the time impact. You bury your own Talent. A quick roll up from the ankle lock. The audience would have been fine with it and no other Talent would have got any on them. Bravo Scott.

This match reminds me so much of the same dynamic between AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy. Yes, AJ and Josh were tried and true Impact/TNA frontrunners, but the sheer starpower of Ospreay and Hardy completely overpowered the "hometown" boys.

Josh Alexander doesn't get nearly enough love. He and Moose could be the top guys in any promotion in almost any modern era of wrestling.
They are top guys in Impact, but I get what you mean. I would of had Alexander go over Ospreay anyday of the week if I was booking
