That's still not a valid reason for walking past a child who looks lost and scared. You can still get lost if you're 10 years old, hell when I was her age, I got scared when I lost my mom at the supermarket
@@maiarostved The problem is that the people walking by will only get a glimpse of her before passing by, but she didn't seem visibly panicked or scared due to her hiding her face. I almost cried seeing ALMOST nobody helping her, when I saw the people helping her a big smile formed in my face and tears of joy was forming in my eyes. Those people are so kind-hearted
I could see why people weren't helping: at least 95% of kids here have cellphones or at least know to ask an adult or go somewhere for help. The actress was pretty old too, and in most peoples eyes here, a 10 year old is smart enough to get help when they get lost, it wouldve been alot more realistic with a younger child
No offense but to tell the truth Asian kid are so comparable with others western countries...they are so dependent ..so 10 years old kid can also happen like this✌
If it were me at 10 years old, my mum would have been the one crying (or screaming probably 💀) while I would have gone to a help desk, police station, or asked to use a phone to call her.
That’s true, the kids around that age and even younger tend to travel to school on their own taking the public transport. It would be very weird to find a ten years old kid not knowing where their house is, parents phone number or anything like that .
Well, 10-years-old is still a young age: a child is still a child in the end. I'm not sure about Korea, but my mother(she's from Thailand) says I couldn't have a phone until I was 13 and I got lost one time a few months before my twelfth birthday, but I didn't know where to go since I normally relied on my parents to take me everywhere, even if I did things like head to school on my own. I think everything is different for every person.
She really is a good actress and this is a really nice experiment. Once I heard a story from someone who fell at the train station's stairs in South korea, hurt her ankle and no one helped her until she had to call her father to take her. I would like to suggest an experiment of this woman's story. I'm sure most people would help if you go ask them but this person was a foreigner yet she looks like a korean. I think it's an interesting plot and I'll be curious of how it will turns out. Btw nice video, I always watch yours since it gives me good insights.
“Children’s like you should wear those things you put around your wrists” For a second I thought she was talking about iWatches 😂 like what child has that
@@my-sn8ij for security, kids her age go alone to school and hangout outside without their parents, if something happens then they can easily contact their parents or their parents can navigate where the kid is with the gps. I don't have kids but I don't see anything bad about kids her age or even little younger having a phone for their own security reasons.
Actually in Korea it’s very common for kids to have “kid’s phone” which is a wrist phone that tracks their location and allows their parents to message or call them. I taught a class of 6 year olds and like half had ‘kids phones’ so she kinda IS talking about iWatches.

When my daughter was about 12, we were in our city’s Chinatown area. We became separated, not for long or a far distance (she had become interested in something and just stopped following along with me). I turned back and spotted her after a moment and saw her looking around with the developing look of anxiety and fear on her face. Literally, almost immediately, two different little grandmas descended on her, asking if she was ok and if she was lost. By time I reached her I received a death glare from both of them 😂. It’s a spidey sense that grandmas have, it’s uncanny. (She’s 14 now but I’m liking that one grandma…we should have never them take off that little lo-jack they put on her when she was born. At least the iPhone mostly works just as well.)
chenle's dolphin laugh Little kids are different from adults. If they don’t know that person they will say they don’t know that person. This is not a abusive relationship where the wife is to scared to say something. My niece does it all the time she’s four. She recognizes my voice when we pick her up from daycare. And also if she see’s the person and shouts out their name then obviously the child knows them. So it seem sketchy because he is a guy would you still feel that way if it was a woman? Because women kidnap kids to. Some women can’t have kids so let me steal someone else’s kid. That could be the mindset for women who kidnap. And I believe if this was a adult foreigner or Korean who got lost nobody would care same in the states. One person has to step up for the others to help. He literally pointed out the mom.
Seriously, the first grandma is so lovely. Her tone is so soothing when she asked that kid. And cant believe with so many people out there, they just passing by.. not even sparing a glance
I remember when I was about the age of 8 I was lost in this huge mall, I was soo scared and frustrated and that the point that I was Muslim and nobody came to help me gave me a huge shock. I thought that I'll never see my mom again. I was running around asking for help and everyone would just look at me and continue with their business. Till a wonderfull women came to my rescue.(She's still my hero)😭😭😭😭😭
Is it weird that I started to cry a little bit when she starting telling them that she lost her mum... Edit - the reason I cried was because my mum would always leave the house leaving us alone when our parents would fight & we would be alone & scared 00f
I understand if the people that just kept walking didn't see her or were too busy(not really the people that were too busy) but to just keep walking and not even ask her if she is okay is so heartless! If the roles were reversed you would want someone to help you too!
@@Mochi-hf6ic The Koreans in the comments are saying that the actor was too old for her "I'm lost" act to be believable. Kids around the age of 10 already have cell phones so that they can quickly call the police if something goes wrong whilst going to cram school

Just a simple action of kindness can really make a difference💕
I am sorry but I think it's because she looks older probably she is in primary school .Children of her age usually walking by themself. THAT'S why I couldn't tell if she lost or just hanging out
That's still not a valid reason for walking past a child who looks lost and scared. You can still get lost if you're 10 years old, hell when I was her age, I got scared when I lost my mom at the supermarket
@@jisookimie9527 I am just saying how that situation looks like
@@maiarostved The problem is that the people walking by will only get a glimpse of her before passing by, but she didn't seem visibly panicked or scared due to her hiding her face. Korean children start going to cram schools as early as 6 years old, so it's not uncommon to see children like her walking around. However it was interesting to see how people started to gather around her when the kind lady offered help.

The actress was pretty old too, and in most peoples eyes here, a 10 year old is smart enough to get help when they get lost, it wouldve been alot more realistic with a younger child
not really , I had strangers coming to me many times when I was crying in the streets , was much older than this girl. It's a cultural difference

At least the iPhone mostly works just as well.)
lol it's kind of sketchy how he walks up to the grandma and says he's her guardian since anyone could do that and kidnap her
But he explained the whole situation and the little girl was saying so with him lol.
chenle's dolphin laugh Little kids are different from adults.
