The connector on the mirror, has 3 wires and some empty spaces. Wire 1, is the one where you have no empty spaces around it. Wire 2, is between wire 1 and 3 and has no adjacent empty spaces Wire 3, is the closest one to the empty spaces If I remember correctly, there are numbers on the connector.
@@N33sWorkshop The same Mondeo Mk3 mirror, but into Mk2 Focus. I killed one coz a wrong wiring scheme found on net, but today I found an other in a Yt video, it works 🤩
Great work as always. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

my car is right hand side steering....will that wiring loom be driver side?
I think it's on the left. I never worked on a RHD focus.
What about the wiring? I have 5 pins, but no connector.
Probably a different mirror, I have to look it up. Please provide more info.

is it 12v + from the reverse wiring? thanks
You need:
+12V (power to the mirror)
GND (ground to the mirror)
+12V from reverse lamp, so it deactivates when you reverse.
I put the same on mine, but it wobbles, what can I do to stop it from wobbly? He plays a lot where he has the grip
I was thinking about this…
It might be worn out, or it’s just how it is.
@@N33sWorkshop I have to take it off, I think there is a metal clamp that tightens it, if not I will put a textile insulating band
