But one thing that's lost in translation is why Bobby and Hwiyoung's conversation was so funny when they were talking about satoori. When Bobby asked if Hwiyoung's dad uses satoori, Hwiyoung misunderstood Bobby cause it kinda sounded like he was asking Hwiyoung if he had a dad lol. The phrasing in this particular instance sounds kinda similar so that’s why Hwiyoung responds with "Yes I do (have a dad)". But in Korean there’s not really definite pronouns so I think Bobby took it to mean “He does (have a satoori)”. That's why he was saying "Oh so he uses". But one thing that's lost in translation is why Bobby and Hwiyoung's conversation was so funny when they were talking about satoori. When Bobby asked if Hwiyoung's dad uses satoori, Hwiyoung misunderstood Bobby cause it kinda sounded like he was asking Hwiyoung if he had a dad lol. The phrasing in this particular instance sounds kinda similar so that’s why Hwiyoung responds with "Yes I do (have a dad)". But in Korean there’s not really definite pronouns so I think Bobby took it to mean “He does (have a satoori)”. That's why he was saying "Oh so he uses".
At this point Hwiyoung realizes he might’ve misunderstood loll and when he starts laughing Bobby catches on to the misunderstanding. That's why he got so flustered and said "that's not what I meant!". And why he emphasizes the question on whether Hwiyoung's dad uses satoori and says he's breaking into a cold sweat
