My two year old is constantly constipated too. Did you manage to find a solution? Has your child gotten better? It breaks my heart to see my child suffer. She has been in a laxative for three weeks but that’s not looking very promising.

This is a great explanation. I realized I was stopping laxatives too soon because I was afraid it was something bad to depend on. I'm going back in with my tot to help us be more successful! here's to a #restart.

@@healthychild3751 hello I am sorry about the late reply. I kept my daughter on restoralax after getting this recommendation from the emergency doctor. Everything was going well and now we are back to the same problem. I can't see her suffer like this anymore. I'll up the dose of laxatives.

Farrout my boy is 6 years old an it's so painful to watch him experience this 😢. I'm currently strict on his diet and I'm praying for a better outcome.

I understand because my son is 6 and since today has complained of having but pains at least 30 times. I feel so helpless but seeing this video I now know what to do because I have had 2-3 failed doctor visit attempts. Would you mind sharing what you feed your son please?
When my daughter was 6 months old she had a bowel movement that was a large a mine. This tells me that constipation isn't always caused by "holding it in." A baby won't do that. She is now almost 30 and still has issues. Unfortunately I believe she was born with the issue.

Same I’m the same when I was little I was basically fed laxative after laxative and still to this day have it. I never held my poop just never would come out like it just sat in me than I would eventually after laxatives have a huge poop

This happens to my son a lot, he's 4 1/2. It didn't start until about a year and a half ago. I do remember him being constipated a few times when he was a year old, but nothing compared to now. I feel so bad for him when he tells me he can't go 😢😢. When he does go, he feels so much better and it's like a weight has been lifted off his little shoulders.

@@adityaayyala-o8p still happens to him and he just turned 8 last week. His doctor hasn’t really been that helpful over the years and I have him scheduled to see a gastroenterologist next month. I’ve been giving him miralax since he was 2 per the doctor’s orders, doesn’t even help anymore, tried changing his diet, he’s a very picky eater. I think if he wasn’t so picky he wouldn’t be so constipated. I give him senakot gummies twice a week, just started doing that a few weeks ago. That helps for now. I thought I would have seen some improvement by now, but I’m a divorced mom and do it all on my own, his father sees him every other weekend but has not once asked about our son’s health, education, extracurricular, nothing and my son dreads having to go with on his weekends with him.

Be a strong man now its totally recovered i hope so but I am gonna advise you to eat a good diet and do activity in lockdown drink plenty of water and stay happy not stressful

Rita is a very active 77 year old. She had constipation since childhood, and had recently developed diverticulitis, where loops of bowel become inflamed. @@13yearsdead I'm 11 years old and I deal with this problem every single day but if u have a lot of fiber and water in ur diet then you won't have this problem but ik its hard bc its scary bc ppl don't want to use the bathroom bc it hurts but you should always try to and tell ur mom or dad about it and they will help you get through this tough time of having it
It hurts because when you give your child the medication and say him too poop but you should also fill a bottle with a hot water and then heat his/her hips then see the result thanks me later

India oh! My aunt scold her son when he poop at night because in india their guardian have to clean theirs butts with their bare hands after poop, so he holds it as long as he can. So the poor child won't get scold.

Why would a medical channel call feces poo..? I get not saying use the word shit or phrases dropping a deuce, dropping kids off at the pool, sending a fax etc.. poop sounds better than poo..
Just drink a lot of warm water and in about 20 seconds it will be much easier.
