I just looked and it is now showing as sold out (Luckily I preordered mine a year or so ago) I don't see the replacement ticket rolls for sale yet but the customer service rep tells me they will be available as soon as they complete the current Zoltar orders. Likely before the end of the month

There is a vintage Zoltar machine on the old pier at Paignton, a seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been “upgraded” many times and now costs one English pound (more than a dollar) for each “reading”, and you get a little cardboard message to take home. Well worth it.

The name “Zoltar” is sometimes found in Greece, meaning “life. In Hungary, the slightly different “Zoltan” is still a popular name for boys born in June. And it is a way cool name.
Yes it is, I played in a pinball tournament last year at Pi ball Expo and played against a guy named Zoltan from Hungary .. Thanks for the history lesson, I did not know that..Thanks for watching!
I just got my Zoltar . I am impressed with it. New Wave Toys has done it again, In fact I think this might be their most elaborate creation so far.
@wonderrob3225 They absolutely nailed this one for sure ! I have passed on a couple of machines in the past as I didn't have any interest in the title .. With the latest being Golden Tee as I got busy amd totally forgot to place an order , so now I am kicking myself! 😅🤣

There's an old Halloween and toy store pretty close to me that has a zoltar machine and it scares the shit out of me every time I pass by it. It's called foy's Halloween store in Fairborn Ohio and it's the oldest store in Fairborn. Still around. It is from 1929. It's been open for 94 years. It's like the best place to go to. When you're bored. You can always find something to buy

Even the packaging and boxes are a work of art. Love this. I've never seen BIG but I know this machine. Love the faux power cable loads. Lovely well produced product.

I've actually found two real working Zoltar machines. One was in the souvenir shop for the Seattle Underground Tour, the other was in a Wax Works in Dublin Ireland. I believe I still have the "fortune".
@prizegotti The last one I saw was at Vintage Flipper World in Michigan, but it was turned off, so I am not sure if it was working or not . They have always gotten my money if they worked though!
I know of two more working Zoltar machines here in Seattle. One is in the lower levels of Pike Place Market next to the magic shop, and there is another in the Ballard Consignment Store.

Having had the experience of a real vintage machine, now battered and the turban a bit wonky, found in an amusement arcade on a pier in a seaside resort in England, I have to have one of these! The one that I saw, the audio was a bit wobbly and the arm movement a bit jerky, but all the better for it.
@howardmaryon It is a fantastic representation of the original machine. The Original manufacturer of Zoltar which is Characters Unlimited gave their stamp of approval before any of these were shipped..So happy that I can add it to my collection. Sometimes I think the original wear and tear on a machine like this only makes it cooler!

The detail on it is amazing, and not a bad price compared to the real thing (yes they still are in production). The Deluxe model goes for $9400!

I have a giant one of these that you can use a wireless mic to make Zoltar say what you want. It is about 3 feet by 4 feet in size. Zoltar's head is the size of a real human head.

When I get mine, there's no way I'm tearing any tickets off. Just wind them back in and reuse. There's only like 55 per roll, then they're gone.
@dahur Yep most people won't but somebody had to do it! If It didn't come with an extra roll I wouldn't have ripped one and I hear they are going to be selling more rolls of fortunes...at least I hope they are! Lol
@@TiltingT I've learned from collecting antique toys, you keep them as original as possible. You don't throw away the box, (even the one it comes in for mailing), the inner cardboard if any, all the bags...unless it's something required to operate the toy, keep stuff in the original sealed bag(s). In this case do NOT rip off any tickets, even the first one. In my experience, often times the box is more valuable than the toy, (if it's in great shape), simply because they were mistreated, and/or just tossed. If you find an antique toy with the box it often doubles in value. People generally just threw that stuff away, especially kids did. Ten years from now, people are going to wish they hadn't torn their tickets apart. I've watched five of these Zoltar review video's so far. Everyone except PDubs has torn their tickets off.
Cool video, I received mine 2 days ago and love it! I have disabled the fortunes so far (Backed it onto the roll and put a rubber band around them so they don’t dispense) I’ll wait till I get some spares ordered to use that feature.

@sw1tched The actual machine that was in the movie was never actually manufactured and was a prop for the movie. Zoltar Speaks was the machine that was actually manufactured and is the closest real machine to the one in the movie...The movie machine was actually based off of a 1960s machine called Zoltan. Although the one in the movie would've been a cooler machine had it ever really been made

beautiful replica BUT the voice is effing annoying. the coolest thing about the movie Zoltar is he never speaks, he just stares blankly and silently "screams" with his freaky mouth movement. made it captivating. this thing I just want to shut off.
