Meetings with nothing but people talking without any props is an obsolete way of cooperating. Still valid to do it when the time/money cost to prepare better is not affordable.
Japanese companies do a lot of "meetings" where there isnt much done. Just you sitting there and listening what has been decided and wasting your time while this Information could have been just sent by email to everyone. This is not from first hand but secondhand experience from different people who complained to me when we talked about worklife.
@@J.Crime123 have worked in a Japanese company. Many meetings are just stuff “for info” which could have been in an email. Bigger japanese firms with more headcount are also fond of bringing more people than needed in a meeting just to “show face/respect” especially when meeting a client.
@@lebocharp Its not really that different in the west, those meetings are most of the time a waste of time and they end up overdoing them, kinda of waste having the girls go there, unless really needed/they want it, that seems more of a manager job if you ask me
