The rain couldn't take a hint
The hail came down for days
This here ain't water son
Embrace the malaise
This here ain't water
Just another cup of something
Another tantrum beating on the roof
This here ain't water son
Nor dose it mean anything
Heed the word
And be the living proof
The sun couldn't get out of bed
We didn't see her for weeks

It's a whip of shale wind
Come to smack the day onto your cheeks

Another man painted by his curse

Nor does it weigh anything
But it will always pull you closer to the earth
Is it all this weather we’ve been having?
Is that why everyone seems so blue?
Gut me dancing
Sliding in Claret stew
Spread in strokes
With Jiving boots
Fueld on neon fumes
Will the gods spare us the weather?
Or whoever?
Store-bought Normans
Farm-bred and necked pecking
It's not their fault
We're all the same
Force-fed and fenced in
It's like a cult out here
Even the lonely ones seem to bow
To something that's so hard to understand
That keeps us alone and
Feeds a western right to sadness
Crying at the moon for the right to croon
Standing on a history of factory fodder
On planned madness
For me sir the floor?
Words escape me
Has anything ever changed? Ever, at all?
The wind couldn’t whistle us a tune
It only screamed for days
