Honest opinion…I love it! The color of that paper tree is perfect for adoring with baubles and jewels. I am not certain that any other color of tree would dress up as elegantly as that paper one. The velvet heart is pretty with the jewelry but I think it is the velvet bow that just adds the perfect rich, romantic look. I have a red velvet heart with jewelry attached but no beautiful bow. Everything looks sweet! One thing I used this year that you might like is my peacock chenille bedspread with huge red hearts all around it.

I'm so glad that you enjoy wearing your vintage jewelry. I was taking older pieces and making them into new pieces but so much of it was just too pretty to touch so I just have a huge stash. This particular book was by Mary Baker Eddy who was the founder of the heretical Christian Science movement. I encourage you to honour the Lord and remove this book from your vignette. Honest opinion…I love it! The color of that paper tree is perfect for adoring with baubles and jewels. I am not certain that any other color of tree would dress up as elegantly as that paper one. The velvet heart is pretty with the jewelry but I think it is the velvet bow that just adds the perfect rich, romantic look. I have a red velvet heart with jewelry attached but no beautiful bow. Everything looks sweet! One thing I used this year that you might like is my peacock chenille bedspread with huge red hearts all around it.

Oh my goodness, what a great idea to use your jewelery in the displays. That gives such a beautiful and authentic vintage look to the displays. As if back in the day a woman took off her jewels and placed them on the shelf or on the velvet heart ( I love that most) for tomorrow. I'm so glad that you enjoy wearing your vintage jewelry. I was taking older pieces and making them into new pieces but so much of it was just too pretty to touch so I just have a huge stash. I think your home is lovely and I appreciate all of the old things you have collected but I noticed you had an old book stacked with some other books, one of which was the Holy Bible. This particular book was by Mary Baker Eddy who was the founder of the heretical Christian Science movement. I encourage you to honour the Lord and remove this book from your vignette. Sending this with Love and in obedience to Jesus my Saviour. ❤️
