      Thank you so much!! 😊 I'll make a video about vocal health and what I know about it, and how I practice good vocal health. but I am not a singing teacher. I can only speak from my own experience :)

    Cool :D if you could make a video on how to open the voice, release tension in muscles, any tips on how not to raise the larynx that would be useful.

    Online Glyndebourne Le Nosse Di Figaro was amazing! They don’t have the one I watched up on UA-cam anymore though :(

      Yeah they are quick t remove them. I had to start making lists of which ones I want to catch. But I heard it was amazing! and I've seen clips of it online over the years and it does look great!

    Hang in there. Your strategies sound good. We broke down and are taking Gaga movement classes 3 times a week. Helps with the feeling of being stuck in a small space. Also, I saw the book the Overstory over your shoulder. A great read!

      Yeah, I defintelty need to get better on the moving front. not doing nearly as much as I should be.
      "The Overstory" I bought it in January or February as a birthday gift card. AND I STILL HAVEN'T READ IT! I can't wait to tuck in now that everything else is pretty much over!

    Hey can you make more teaching videos? I really would love to see those videos, I feel like you have so much knowledge and it would be great if you shared it. Really intrigued by the exercise you did at 2:19

      I try not to make teaching videos since I feel like they do more harm then good when it comes to singing and I made a whole video about it a while back. I can try and see what I can do regarding breathing exercises.

      As for normal times I practice all my music in falsetto so that I'm used to it and have it memorized.... I still do that, actually....

    • @VivsGreen
      @VivsGreen  4 роки тому

      Hahaha! Great TED talk! And you are truly lucky! Practicing everything in falsetto sounds interesting... women and falsetto isn’t really the same as men so unfortunately I can’t try it...

    In a normal day, how long should you practice a day?

    • @VivsGreen
      @VivsGreen  4 роки тому +1

      umm It really depends on what your working on but 2 hours is usually the amount I would spend practicing and "heavy" singing. But everyone is different

      @@VivsGreen Can you please tell me what you exactly do in those 2 hours practice?

    • @VivsGreen
      @VivsGreen  4 роки тому +1

      It depends how much music I have to go through. I do about 15 minutes of warming up and then if it's a technical day, I'll work on small sections of things to sing them in where its difficult and if it's not a technical day I'll just sing through my repertoire from beginning to end.
