Amber is the first human you meet in the game. Not only does she offer to help you find your lost sibling and put up posters for her, she also shows genuine concern for you when you return from driving off Stormterror. She is a great friend, so although even Mihoyo is harsh toward her, I still appreciate her. Although Yoimiya is more powerful, she completely lacks a decoy doll, and has different passives, so she doesn't replace Amber completely.
Also, given their friendly personalities, I feel like Amber and Yoimiya would be great friends. But maybe Yoimiya and Klee shouldn't meet.
