Ah, Sniper... the class everybody loves to play as and hates to play against. But no matter how good you are in this game, there is always those days where everything seems to not work the way you intended. This BLU Sniper in particular, "shouldn't have even gotten outta bed".

Respect on the Sniper for not shooting the Hoovy, not even when he got livid.
You ever read "To Kill a Mockingbird?" Shooting a Hoovy is kinda like shooting a Mockingbird. You gain nothing, and rob the world of something nice.
Hoovy was just trying to bring happiness to both teams. Sniper is an evil assassin, but he is not a villain. (⌐■_■)

Professionals have standards
Friendlies are such easy targets but I can never bring myself to kill one. Even if I'm doing a contract involving getting kills, I don't kill friendlies. Only exception was when a friendly on the enemy team quite literally offered to let me kill them for my contract. That guy was cool.

@@moonlitlakeThat's understandable. But there is one particular situation where killing a friendly is more than fine imo. Soundsmith even showed the situation in his video about them and tryhards. If you're having a 1v1 with another guy and you're probably about to win, only for a hoovy of your own team to toss him a sandwich, i'll fucking ask my team to kick him for *actually* being a fuckin nuisance. Technically, all friendlies are, since all of this is griefing. (But Valve added these taunts anyway, so, i think they couldn't give much of a fuck about it). But there's a difference between being out of the way, and directly affecting a 1v1 I'm a part of. If a situation like that happened and I was getting the sandwich, while I should've probably been the one to die, i'll probably killbind to give the point to the other guy, if I can. No, like, I'm serious.. To all friendlies who does this, you're pieces of shit. I'm fine with them if they're all being silly and fun. But purposely toss a sandwich in a 1v1 and see how fast I pull out the vote menu if you're in my team. I'm a friendly tryhard, so I can see both sides. But I have no interest in friendlies who are actually being problematic.. It's pretty rare, but if Sound actually caught a situation like that before, then it's not completely farfetched to think that others does that too.

As snoper main, I confirm it happens every time on 2fort. Bloody hell.
Then you get kicked for not scoring points and being a "noob"... or when you score points, you get kicked for being a "hacker". :P

You're welcome man and nice, guess I got front row seats as that's what my sniper experience was like for all the time I tried before I gave up after a bit more than half a hundred hours and tried the other classes, I respect ya for doing sniper a lot personally can't stand the thought of having all my eggs in one basket sometimes tho so it can be draining but I do find him fun with the huntsman, I primarily play heavy though because I can do more than just kill enemies and his weapons are an interesting variety to me, hope you have a great day sorry I know I'm late to responding I have just been busy these few months but your video was a wonderful decompressant and reminder of the struggles we all go through to get to where we are as players and in this case representing the class often seen as very strong and black and white without considering the grey, so thanks for shedding some of that light for those who aren't informed of the truth and for making it quite entertaining at that!

I played Hoovy once on a Minecraft map. Got killed by a sniper several times.
After the 8th death I stopped messing around.
Run, hide, the Cannon Jumping Scottsman arrives all the same.
life of a soldier main:
- Self Inflicted damage.
- Forgot to pick a shotgun in the loadout.
- Pyros
- Crockets body-blocked by teammates.
- Missing a garden.
- Meeting and enemy around a corner.
- Teammates not co-orperating
- Feeling like you are the leader of your team.
Every class have their struggle and that's what makes them so special, aye? e.e'

can't wait til Sniper goes crikey and pulls out the Carbine + Bushwacka combo to unleash havoc on the chokepoint
Nobody messes with that combo. Even Demoknights get destroyed when Sniper goes full australian. xD
That's why cleaner's carbine and bushwhacka is my go to sniper loadout

1. His team is getting spawncamped
2. His team is spawncamping

Also, i got answer on question from subtitles in 0:50, because why the hell no ? Maybe before shot he accedently little moved his weapon. Also maybe there was a wind... Oh wait, there is no wind. Okay, forget this. And just if someone want to know, i already fired from guns. Not sniper rifles, but assault rifle, pistol and shotgun.
His hand/mouse probably flicked a little to the side. It happens to me all the time... :P
@@Misantropico I also remember my... lets say failed shot. It happened, because my finger slipped to the left, and i shot with phalanx. And because of this, pistol little turned to the right. I know, i know. Sniper rifle is not PM (Makarov's pistol), but maybe Sniper had same situation.

So first - Misan literally put in 1:20 to 1:35 entire world, just some seconds, but level design was... WOW!!!! its wonderful
And second - snow steps. Holy cow, small detail but add life in animation. Its impressive

A: Switch to huntsman
B: Give yourself false hope by adjusting mouse sensitivity
C: Play Pyro
When I started playing and noticed I was terrible at Sniper, I turned into a Soldier main. Probably the best thing I did in my TF2 life. e.e'

I like the detail of the sniper player avoiding hoovies. One time I found a Hoovy in the sewer and had to shoot around him with a compound to get a soldier and a spy. Was satisfying, thanked him, and moved on lol.
Some people try to hide behind hoovies (or disguise themselves as hoovies) to avoid getting shot but it’s always satisfying to get around that and kill them. It’s like a whole new challenge. With greater stakes.

@@Misantropico é incrível como as vezes você pode ser uma gigantesca ameaça pro time inimigo com uma killstreak de 17 e as vezes você é tão ruim que erra 3 tiros em um medic parado que estava levando o carrinho (sim , esses dois fui eu)

as a sniper main, this is usually how my first game of the day goes, my brain has to for some reason get used to playing the game again before i actually gain my skill back.
(only actual reason i can think of to explain this is it might be bc i usually draw/write for about 4 hours straight before i start playing a game of tf2, turning my brain to mush and making my hands cramped in my usal writing/drawing position, making my hands stiff. doesnt help that i tend to grip the pencil as tight as i possibly can cramping my hand further. its kinda hard for me not to, its a bit of a bad habit tbh 😭)
