    A lot of people on here are mentioning how complicated it is. It is actually quite simple if you read the PDF online or the manual it comes with. A little practice trying out the options and the tuner works well and adjusting the presets work too. It gets very loud and clear. I bought a used one for 60 bucks and so far and love it.

    I love my Mustang 1 but it is kinda complicated. It's absolutely worth it to hook up to a computer and look around inside the amp tho. Lotta cool features. Gets easier with use

    This is a great budget beginner amp. I highly recommend getting a footswitch. Any universal latched footswitch will do. The fender footswitch is a bit expensive.

    @redstrat8 ...Yes. Both the 20 watt and 40 watt have on-board tuners. About the only thing this amp doesn't do is my laundry! I have the Mustang II, and am using it to record directly into a Boss BR1200. It is totally giggable, can be connected direct-board to a PA. I haven't even downloaded the FUSE software yet...haven't needed to. That feature is accessed with an included USB cable into a laptop or PC or MAC.

    How do you completely reset the amp to original settings? I bought a used one and it has turned out to be a total piece of junk! Everything has hall reverb or some kind of swirling effect! Even with the reverb turned all the way down! "Twin Reverb" doesn't mean covered in reverb, does it? The 70's and Metal settings are so over gainy (with the gain on zero, by the way), No software, No manual (finally found a partial on a pdf), and few videos about this model on YT. i finally found a video that showed me how to find a clean tone! I would have never known otherwise. At least with the clean tone I can use a pedal until I can get a real amp that works. If I could get up there I would throw this amp off the roof of my house! (to your credit this video makes the amp look good). I have plenty of Mustang hate but have watched some videos of the LT25 and they seem to have come a long way. I really like the backlit display of the settings-tones-amp mod names. That is a game changer. The entire thing looks like it might actually be semi user friendly. Have you tried one of those?

    This amp rocks! I don't get how you guys find it complicated? Cool features, so many in one amp! Easy to create your own presets and save them under 16 memory slots.

    @timjmoran I just got this, it is very nice, especially when you get the PC involved. It also comes with Ableton(I use Sonar!), and Amplitude Fender LE, as well as Fender Fuse preset editor. I have the 20 watt, and its plenty loud to get over drums and bass, and on sale for $99.00! Comes w/ Asio for audio output. I highly recommend it!

    Have you got the fender fuse software 32 bit for mac ?

  • @hutch356
    @hutch356 12 років тому +1

    @Danklin24 i know, it does seem like a lot, but that's why i want this amp, it is very versatile, with the presets abbleton recording software, MP3 capabilities, and the fender FUSE connectivity, it all seems really cool

  • @AntonioCesareMatteo

    Is there a video that shows how to use the built in tuner?

  • @GreenGrayRain
    @GreenGrayRain 13 років тому

    So, regarding the amber presets, you can only modify them on Fuse, so you modify them as you want, and they still saved in the amp? you know what I mean?

    @iDuffdabestweed In my case i play on Vox ad50 but it should be the same: put up the GAIN to some degree while lowering the volume (not the master) in case it becomes too loud. Also use the appropriate modeling style: some models are with less gain and too crunchy.

    If I had seen this earlier there is NO WAY i would have bought it. I needed a small amp and it was in the store used for $79 so I got it. Last time I bought an amp was in the 90's. They have really screwed things up since then.

  • @Macsk8ing
    @Macsk8ing 13 років тому +2

    @chabi3000 A lot of people say that, but I hate it, couldn't go high gains at more than half of volume because it would makea fucking annoying screeching noise, the sound is way too digital and the speakers are 100 percent garbage, I mean who needs a USB connection on an amp? I sold my Mustang I for 40 bucks and I saved up for a real Marshall MG250DFX

  • @timjmoran

    I just saw that Musicians Friend is selling these for $199... if the amp is any good, that is an amazing deal!! Hopefully Pro Guitar Shop or someone else will
    do a more critical review of the amp. ( this vid, of course, looks like it might have been produced by Fender!) This is no doubt a solid state amp, likely of Chinese Mfg.origin-but still!! looks intriguing, to say the least. Anybody else had a chance to play thru this in a store??

    i played it today at an exhibition (it was actually introduced for the first time so when i came home i 'tubed for some more info)
    well... it's pretty impressive..!! I came to like it overall.., i know becasue after playing it for 10 minutes i wanted to leave, but i just couldn't, it makes you wanna play...
    it has a pretty natural sound, not dry or flat, even the overdriven tones are decent.. the tonal response is very good it does what you want it to do
    Mustang II has more bite and bass though

    They say its easy to use this thing i say its easy to fly a fighter plane I mean come on did you see how many lights and knobs there are it looks like a cockpit and with the software it looks like its used in super computer to comunicate with aliens and did you even notice the girl at the beginning its hilarious cause clearly she is not playing anything and her guitar doesent even have strings LOL.

  • @Trendyi

    They say its simple to use this thing i would then say its easy to fly a fighter plane i mean come on it looks like a cockpit with all these lights did you even notice the girl at the beginning without string on her guitar.

      +mrbillhicks if I can give you some advice, download Remuda on your Android phone... You can then connect your amp directly to your phone with a OTG cable

    I want an "all blues" sound set. Instead it is just confusing. (The print is too small to read well, which adds to the confusion). I am unable to get delay and reverb off on several channels. A total mess. I definitely wouldn't but it again. Just an old-school "clean-gain" amp w. overdrive pedal seems to be what I need to do.

  • @Macsk8ing

      Hold the tap button while turning on the amp....it will bypass all presets and you will just get a straight clean sound.

    Such a goddamn confusing control interface, it's laughable. Every other combo modeling amp has controls that are a million times simpler and more intuitive. Got this as a first amp and pretty much hate it.
