I really like this list but tbh i just cant find it in my heart to play no handtraps.i mean my whole nonengine is 3 ash,3 imperm3 belle,2 talents,1 called by.
Unless you draw 2 hand traps you are generally gambling on one hand trap stopping them (almost never the case) and the way you get to see 2 nonengine consistently is by playing 15. HERO unfortunately cannot play 15 hand traps and at most can play 12 so I do not think handtraps are good because you will probably hand loop yourself. By playing breakers you are ensuring that if you only draw 1 nonengine it will be as impactful as can be. I am also siding hand traps so just in case I play against an ftk deck I at least have (some) options, although low, to try to draw to beat it instead of a 0% chance I appreciate you watching, commenting, and sparking the discussion as well! @@alhassanalsaadi7340 I had the thought as well, but after winning a game after starting with double increase, AHL, malicious, and favorite contact at the NAWCQ because of the liquid fixing my hand… I think I’m gonna have to keep him in!
Gotta question. What is your opinion on instead of lv6 running aqua dolphin in the main? You can get a second search of infernal which can also be a free discard for liquid solider. He can give you free hand knowledge along with ridding of a hand trap that could be there. Or any other key card. And aqua neos is a free alternative summon if you hard draw the miracle. Interesting take for possibly changing my hero deck. I do have a question though, should you prioritize board breakers over hand traps? My current non engine has 6 board breakers and 6 handtraps. Both a set of Ash and imperms. I can take them out and sub them in for board breaking cards but let me know what you think. Also, with Fiendsmith coming out soon, do you think Heroes will struggle in the next meta?
I really think that’s up to you, I find board breakers to be better “bang for your buck” cards as they are individually higher impact and can be good on the draw. Playing so little hand traps I find will cause you to hand loop yourself more than actually stop your opponent. I do like the mixture sometimes but as you said with the way fiendsmith is looking we may need to find breakers to beat it. I actually think going 1st our board got better into SE fiendsmith because they have to play less nonengine to fit more engine now. Thank you for watching and please subscribe and share!

Hey Blake, ive ran a few tests with the deck on EDO and it is doing alright for me but I have two questions regarding the side deck and possibly the non engine for main deck. For side, which cards would you suggest you would replace in regards to D-barrier? Ive played this with my current hero deck at locals yesterday and it legit saved my bacon more times than not as I mostly played against Branded and Tenpai. Secondly, would you consider slotting in Droll and D-shifter? I feel that is also an excellent board break/stun if you are going 2nd. Perhaps siding out the book of eclipses could be a possibility? But let me know what you think about this potential change!
I think D-Barrier is solid and you could play it in place of the rivalry and 2 cosmics. I will be playing droll when INFO comes out to be able to beat fiendsmith decks a bit more reliably going 2nd. I do not like shifter in the deck because even when we go 2nd we still really need our GY to be able to play unless your deck is completely built to play under shifter which means you have to play more suboptimal cards. You could not play the ashes or the extra mask changes and play the drolls if you would like. Really tailor your deck for your local meta but I like ash against both branded and tenpai which you had mentioned. Ash can be like d barrier against them but if you want both I would suggest that.
@BlakeHERO Thanks for the response! I'll go ahead and sub in the cosmic's and rivalry for my d-barriers. Droll I think when the next format comes out I'll probably replace the eclipses for droll? Yes, depending on what you want to do with your build, if you want to fit the most nonengine possible you have to cut down on something and mask change is something very cuttable because it is not very good going 2nd. You can replace the other copies with books and these cards are good going 1st as well as going 2nd. @@BlakeHERO ty man!
What do you think about replacing absolute zero for acid
I would not replace absolute zero for acid but I do think abz is cuttable. Acid def does not come up enough. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Do you have combos on the channel to play around stun?
There’s really no “combos” per say but DPE is incredibly powerful against stun
Also don’t forget that book can save you from nib
Yup! I go into more detail about the card in other videos and don't want to repeat the same things over and over again haha. Thank you for bringing it up though for anyone that does not know!
@@BlakeHERO most definitely 👍
You gunna be at nats this weekend?
I will be!
@BlakeHERO big bet ❤ I'll see you there
what would you side out for evenly and drnm?
I usually side out the kuriboh, called by, and e call for 3x breakers and then another 3x staples (BOE for example) for the other 3x of breakers. Hopefully this helps!
Hey man, no infinite imperm?
No but for my recent list it could have been that instead of droll in the side!
I like honest neos to bust dark law and otk My opp, i play only 1 increase as well 1 honest neos
@@aleleaguilera I think that’s fine as well! I just will never play less than 2 increase again and honest neos is just not super mandatory
@@BlakeHEROsince i'm playing 1 increase (2022) never missed the secondone, i Think that if You minimize the count of a card tipe in the Build it's hard yo increase another copy foward in the future😅 😅😅
@@aleleaguilera I missed out on topping the NAWCQ because I only played one, never ever again.
Twin twister instead of cosmic
Js
The discard won’t really hurt also if you coming down to time you won’t feel to rushed
I don't mind going to time! I almost never do; I think I figured out the space in the side deck. I appreciate the opinion tho!
@@BlakeHERO also like EN shuffle to play around droll as well
@@infinitenebulagaming5105 It can work, just think the card is kinda bricky
@@BlakeHERO can be but the situation it can pull you out of is nice 👍
@@infinitenebulagaming5105 I think if I were to put all the cards in for the EN package I would rather play crossout for the droll competitively speaking
2 dark ruler, 2 evenly, 2 thrust, swap cyclones for 2 imperm
Make your hand traps a little easier to access as well as your poly, miracle, foolish. It opens up a lot more plays since 15+ hangars is meta
I really really do not like playing 2 ofs of cards I really want to draw it just does not make much logical sense
@@Shadowbullet920 I like thrust but we do not have a good normal trap to main deck requiring a going 1st only nonengine card to be forced to be played
@@BlakeHERO like thrust yet? lol glad to see it worked for you. i loved your choice of d barrier
@@Shadowbullet920 I actually found a way for thrust to be played in the main deck to great effect! It is really nice in testing but I want to be sure before I show off my secret tech atm. I like thrust in the main right now in this list at least!
Blake’s a real cutie patootie
Aw thank you! And thank you for watching!
Solo 5 rondas?
Yes! Our locals is 5 rounds almost always
one mask change?
Yes, depending on what you want to do with your build, if you want to fit the most nonengine possible you have to cut down on something and mask change is something very cuttable because it is not very good going 2nd. You can replace the other copies with books and these cards are good going 1st as well as going 2nd. I would side the other copies of mask change tho for certain matchups as well as when you know you are going 1st because it is the card in our arsenal that is best going 1st especially in a meta like we are now with the amount of hand traps going around. Thank you for watching and commenting!
So many flaws in this build, sad.
@@Kyle-w9h I’m not sure where you get that! I have tested almost everything in 40-42 cards and a lot of math and logic goes into each of my builds as well as testing. Trying to build any rogue deck will have flaws but you have to do your best to overcome them . I’m sorry you don’t like the build, but I think this build is very good while still able to play the additional brick that’s the kuriboh.
@@BlakeHERO There are better alternatives, sorry you haven't discovered them yet.
@@Kyle-w9h I’m sure there are things I haven’t tested yet but as for the most competitively viable lists I believe I have covered most bases with this build!
@@BlakeHERO Alright then, but there are other cards that improve consistency and break full negate boards better that the nolife sweatlords love to put up all of the time.
@@Kyle-w9h besides prosperity I would love to know which cards you are referring to, I believe I have tested most breakers that people play and have seen the pros and cons of each. I don’t think calling people who play other decks as “no life sweatlords” just because they play meta is very appropriate also not many decks are setting up a bunch of omni negates right now. It’s way more fun to let people play the best decks and still beat them
Any chance we can get some test hands after the profile. Maybe combo out the hand to see scenarios. Subbed🫡
I will take this into account! Would you rather see test hands than pack opening? Just want to add some variety to my HERO deck profiles. Appreciate you!
