- Join Dean and I as we spend our last night in Canada in the World famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louis. We drive the Bow Valley Parkway from Banff to Lake Louise before checking into our Lake View room at the Fairmont! Get a glimpse inside the 4* hotel and full room tour! To end the day we talk to whole length of Lake Louise to take in the views from the opposite side. We hope you enjoy coming along with us for this once in a lifetime experience staying in this boujie hotel!

You did it again. There are no words to express how stunningly beautiful Lake Louise is and you captured it in abundance. How lucky were you to be able to stay in The Fairmont Chateau with the gorgeous lake view. When I visited Canada I was lucky enough to see bears on the road side. I also was staying at a friends and her husband had a company that collected the tree's that had been cut down in the forests. I was lucky enough to go out in his logging truck and collect the tree's and take them to the sawmill. Amazing experience. Fantastic vlogs Cat and Dean. Well Done

Hi cat & Dean,nice for you to meet up with a friend over there and nice to do it without a camera aswell I bet,you could never get tired off the scenery could you,shame a train didn't come along when you were there would have been great to see😬wow the reception area to the hotel is amazing but the looking at the hotel and prices you wouldn't expect anything else,wow the room view was to die for so well done Dean you cracked it😀the room itself looked OK but I think your obviously paying for the view and location,love how you say this little mound beehive you went up🤔🙈$140 an hour for a canoe is bonkers but I bet people still pay it🙄the lake at the back looked like the water could have gone further back so wonder if it was low or that was just normal🤷♂️glad you had an amazing time at the fairmont guys,thankyou again for your time and effort younput in to your vlogs🙂👍
Yeah I think the view pays for itself haha .. Hotel room felt a tiny bit dated but it’s an old hotel ! Yeah if the train would have passed it would have been very epic ! Would love too see it one day , there was people sat there who had been there for a few hours waiting for that shot 😳. Glad you are enjoying the content , hope you are excited for some Tenerife videos 😁 👍🏻
Thank you so much for watching and leaving some lovely feedback 💛 would have been great to see a train come around Morant’s Curve whilst we were stood there but you’d have to be very lucky to pull up and have one come straight away, because the freight trains have no schedule that you can time it off! The hotel wasn’t particularly modern but I think that was part of the character. Definitely paying for the privilege of waking up to that view or Lake Louise 😍 there’s plenty who pay the premium for a canoe on that lake, we saw the queues whilst we were there! oh my gosh that room is stunning! the views are incredible! ive just binged all of your Canada vlogs, I commented on an earlier video - I'm going to the rockies in October too, same week as you went! you had amazing weather too, fingers crossed we get similar! I looked at staying at the Fairmont in Lake Louise but the rooms were about £700 for a night... not sure if we can justify it but after seeing this I really want to! Also, I noticed you were using your phone and apple car play while you were out there - would you mind me asking how you used your data over there? did you just upgrade your contract to include roaming in Canada or did you get a sim only or something? looking into it for my visit as I feel like we're going to need data for the maps!
Awww thank you so much for spending the time to watch the whole series! I hope you managed to pick up some ideas for your own adventure 🥰 it was unseasonably hot for the start of October when we were there so please don’t be overly disappointed if you don’t get the same weather, but tbh I kind of missed the snow capped mountains that we had on a previous fall visit to the Rockies, so if it’s not hot for you at least there might be snow! ☺️ the Fairmont was a very special gift from Dean because we had a few things to celebrate, and I will hold the memories very dear and I know I’m very fortunate to be able to say I stayed there 💛 SIM card wise I purchased a data only E Sim from Holafly whilst I was still in the UK and just downloaded and installed it whilst I was over there. Very easy to do if you have one of the newer iPhones, no need for a physical SIM card or a new number. Holafly send instructions when you purchase from them. It worked flawlessly and I got better signal and download speeds than Dean who just used the Data Roaming that’s included in his O2 plan 😏 hope this helps! Any other questions just ask and have an amazing honeymoon! You’re going to fall in love with the Rockies 🇨🇦🩵
