Cool to see this! I have a semi fish store myself, currently still in my parents garage lol! Quick question tho, what software do you use for your POS system on your iPad? And is it linked directly to your website to update the stock automatically?
We use Shopify! I like it for the most part. It does connect to our online store. I can choose what products are online only, retail only, or both. And it tracks inventory for them. It's just tricky because if something sells online, it's not so easy to be like "well we have these plants available, but those 3 over there sold already". It's annoying to the local customers. So I try to keep that to a minimum. Bettas it's easier since they have their own tanks, you can mark the whole tank as sold online
We also ship plants! We do currently only ship betta plant packs though and not individual species. It's just a lot easier than having separate stocking for retail and online. I find plants easier because if something goes wrong it's not a huge deal. It's only plants after all. We still ship with insulation and we also use heat packs and cold packs when temps are low or high.
Thanks for sharing! The store looks great!
Cool store you have ❤
Thank you!
Omg 😱 I love your shop mines never have floating plants and your shop looks so beautiful!
Thank you so much! I built basically everything myself with help from friends and family. I'm very proud of how it came out :)

The second male betta wich fell to the bin did you get it out?😂
Yes haha. I went back and got him back into his tank. He probably had a blast hanging out in the plant mush for a bit
I know you ship fish, but do you ship plants to? I figure it's probably a bit of a different process, but is it/would it be any harder to do?
