Not really, but it’s like saying do you really need 316L steel over regular stainless or 904L over 316L? It’s just a premium material that’s all. I’m sure for 99.9% of people even a base titanium is more than adequate.
Here are Easy Tips that will transform the wearing experience of the skx:1) Get a thin $16 caseback from Crystal times and that will reduce the height from 13mm down to 11m 2)File down the crown guards or use a dremel. All in all, have a 6.5 inch wrist and size and dimensions of skx were a huge deterrent and I had to resort to getting a titanium case from ALI EXPRESS and swapped the guts over. Excellent review I enjoyed it
I really like mine. I sanded and polished the case back so that it's smooth and I put a curved case silicone strap on it. It's light and all day comfortable. Great watch. Thanks for the review!!!
Very glad to hear that, maybe it was just my example too, but I had to share it with you guys. I hope they move the spring bars and it’s holes as well as it is very hard to get a nato on it. Luckily, after market rubber straps tend to fit with a little pressure.
How light is the blue dial? I love the small rays on the dial but I´m a bit afraid they aren´t even noticeable since the dial appears to be really dark.
I did it today....23.08.2024. Super fit for a NATO strap. It was not possible to use the factory spring bars. Later on I broken spring bars from the factory and ordered the cured one with the sam D 1,8 mm. After all with a nato strap they look greate! @@warshiest
missing the round lume and day of the week though :( i got myself an orient ray ii i think it might be closer to the look of the skx with only the crown being at 3pm instead of 4pm
Thanks for the review. Today is Independence Day of Ukraine. August 24, 2024. The watch is the best in my collection. Titanium grade 5. This material is almost scratch-resistant, 30 percent lighter than stainless steel. For a soldier, every gram has its own weight. That's why I chose this option. I tried the NATO strap....useless...the spring bars are too close to the case. So, I ordered the curved (round) spring bars i.e. 1.8 mm. x 22 mm. Length...... 10 pcs. I received them in 2 weeks. Perfect fit. Now I use the NATO strap in the war against ruSSland. Do not try to modify the straight and original spring bars into a curved one. I have broken mine ones. Just order 10 pcs. of the curved spring bars. P.S. There is no difference with the stainless still one. If any scratches ....it is polished with ease by diamond pastes.
No, the bracelet lug holes are in a different spot, closer towards the case. Aftermarket dials will fit though. Not sure about the bezel inserts but I don’t think they would.
I forgot to mention, this is grade 3 titanium.
Any differences from the grade 5?
Grade 5 is stronger and resist scratches better than grade 3. Grade 5 is more premium / pure and more expensive.
@@thewatchverdict considering most of the watch is brushed, would downgrading the titanium really make a difference?

@@thewatchverdict grade 5 is not more puré than 3

Can you drop a link to that caseback?
One is on its way… can’t wait. Better than an skx for less…
Great video thanks!

Just received one of these with the blue ocean dial, its an amazing watch. No hot spots all smooth so not sure if they updated a bit. Sized is 105g

@@thewatchverdict yes that is a pain

Great review, thanks. I look forward to your next one
I appreciate it! I currently have several other reviews up if you like to take a look at them. If you think it’s worth it please also subscribe.
Really wanna see a blue one up close!
Great review, thanks man
Glad you liked it!
Aye. I'm sold. Need to order one.
Hello! Nice review.. how is going this watch, any problems with the NH35, or too scratch magnet?
Great video! The first one I have seen for this watch. How dark is this dial? In your video, it looks more charcoal grey than black.
It’s only charcoal in direct light, but 90% of the time it looks black.
Ok, thank you! I'll probably go with the blue dial then.
What an excellent review. Thanks brother.
I appreciate the kind words. Thank you.
Curved spring bars !
For sure! For nato strap I use them. Wery light weight.
Hey, interested in this watch, I do see that date window appears little skewed 0:57 , is it so?
Notice it in some of the shops' product shot as well. I wonder if it is because of the angle
Looking at the time, it is after 10:30. Could it be that the date wheel has begun to turn the date? I'm not sure.

Compatible with original skx007 parts? Including bracelet?

How good are they holding up, are there any scratches ?
I wore this daily for a while, so this did get scratched up.
No scratches at all. Titanium T5!… One month of wearing.
Do mod on the dial for actual skx007 or mm300 dial..
