Video request; could you do a tutorial/show what you would use for makeup to go to the beach?! I find that I don’t want/can’t use the same makeup when going to the beach because I will sweat it all off... would love a video like this since summer is around the corner!
Would love it to also be somewhat budget friendly!
Setting spray and set your makeup with powder and use only matte foundations and matte primers hope this helps

I’m really into this new age of UA-camr transparency that’s been going on, with Shane, Bunny, Jeffree, James, Tana, etc. talking about things that really bother you about being behind the videos. For the longest time everyone put on a full facade and it seemed like everyone lived in a fake world that no one could relate to. I’m glad that fake world is falling away ☺️ being transparent allows people to actually relate so nothing but GOOD can come of it. 💝
I agree ...but I also wouldn’t want people to feel obligated to share everything about their private lives. There’s already so much of that due to social media. Oversharing...

Well Lexi here we are 8 months later and the collections are still growing, some in slightly different directions. I thinks the change in direction is actually psychological so the gurus can justify their obsession to buy, buy, buy.
Jessica Braun (JAMBeauty89) recently talked about her decision to curate her make-up collection. By that she meant decide what products she loves and uses all the time. Then separate out the items she's reviewing/trying and when she's through with the item, declutter it right then if it didn't make the grade to a "love." I liked her philosophy on how to keep her collection manageable.

Why don’t makeup companies send out deluxe samples to beauty gurus? Like it’s overwhelming to see all the makeup y’all try out, I can’t imagine getting all full size products, let alone trying to store them. Seems like companies could save some coinage too, if they did that.
I'm so glad you are taking about Shane and Bunny's collaboration. I've been watching. I know you appreciate all the makeup you get to test but I'm over here selling stuff to try to get my mom some new makeup. Her's is all broken and expired. She was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in January and we just found out it's spread to her liver and pelvis. I just want her to feel confident while she fights this horrible disease.

Tati, I know you read all the comments and mine never seem to get noticed but I have made this suggestion already and I want to see someone try it so bad lol, take a black and white photo of a beauty makeup and try to recreate it without knowing what the colors are and see how close you get, I think that would be a really cool challenge! I watch all your videos and you are my daily inspiration 🤗yes keep the likes comi g and maybe it will happen lol

Wow when larger UA-camrs start thinking and talking about the hoarding and keeping makeup they will NEVER be able to use before it goes bad. Props to you Tati for talking about this. Hey Tati you should watch Jessica Braun ‘s recent declutter videos!!! Man she’s been brutal at getting rid a lot of her makeup!!! It’s bloody awesome!!! She also has just put out a video explaining why she decluttered so much cause she was getting a lot of backlash for it!! Loved it !! So much of makeup that would have gone bad and now has gone to friends family and shelters!!

Who ever judges her for that 74$ primer you gotta think sometimes foundation is 50$ and we get it so ....if a primer is 24$ more dollars but makes your skin look bomb there for you use less foundation

I absolutely LOVE Shane & Bunny’s video! I felt so bad for Bunny, she was really struggling so much inside! I think the series is really helping her and it’s so nice to see her happier! I love when you guys share your lives with us & just be who you truly are! Thank you for talking about Bunny & the series her & Shane did together! Those videos really hit home & really make you realize that people have true struggles even though it might not look like it from the outside looking in. I’m so glad Bunny is starting to feel better & working on discovering and becoming her true, authentic self again; something I think everyone should strive to do!

I think it's strange that so many find it unpleasant to hear someone "ranting"...I think that explaining what bothers you only makes you look more human and likable! There is the aspect that maybe people leave out their negative feelings to appear more professional in youtube, but I think this is a bit different kind of job than someone working in an office...

Sometimes I’m glad that I have dry skin, because I know what works for me and it keeps me away from hoarding primers, foundations, concealers & powders.
But I cant say the same about the rest of the makeup products I hoard. 😂

I have tried several primers, and after a few uses, was like how does this work for anyone? Then again, the only oil my face ever has is when I put it on my face, lol.😂

Girl one is enough. Nobody needs as much makeup as you see on UA-cam. I had a truckload of makeup because I felt the need to buy everything that youtubers recommended. Now I have only what I use. It feels so much better.
Feeling like you haven’t made it shouldn’t make you sad, use it to keep pushing you forward and keep improving and keep doing the amazing things that you do. I’m studying to become a graphic designer, and I really believe that I will never stop learning. Even though I’ve clearly made a lot of progress from the past, I think I will always have so much room to grow and improve. That being said, don’t let that room for improvement get you down! Focus on how far you’ve come, and just how happy you make your audience every day!! ❤️❤️
Tati- that is definitely where UA-cam is going and you will notice the ones that don't share will fade away. It's so important to be relatable first and knowledgeable second. I hardly wear makeup anymore and i have gone through it twice in the last 6 months and purge my makeup stuff, smell you lipstick/gloss/balm if it stinks, and not like you remember its probably bad, get rid of it! Can't remember the last time you touched an eye shadow or palette? gone. i have barely anything now, it feels great! but sad cause of the memories or money you spent. but your bathroom will thank you!
i like watching videos of GRWM or trying out new stuff but its hard to go buy it if i know i wont use it.
Ok third comment I'm the worst but keep project beauty share in mind. They will allow you to donate gently used makeup which is pretty amazing so if you do have brand new products and a your friends or family doesn't need it Maybe considering donating your gently used products to them. Would probably make you feel great. 😍

I've just heard her mention she has to find a friend or not sure where she's going to take a product when it has been used that kind of thing. I know she donates her not used makeup which is amazing, I just meant if she does have a few things here or there that maybe she used a few times, maybe hated maybe doesn't have a friend who wants or needs right at the moment, project beauty share will take gently used products where most shelters say no. That was all! 😘
I just wanted to share the message that they will take GENTLY used makeup. It doesn't have to be brand new and I think alot of beauty bloggers have an issue of what to do with so much makeup theyve used and would like to do something that would help those in need over and above the brand new products they already donate. Hope this makes sense guys!

Tati, it sounds like you feel in a way guilty of what you do. No reason to think that. It is not vanity, it is hard psychological work you do here. You are showing that we can be all beautiful thanks to makeup skills and right tools. You have no idea how many women positively transformed thanks to you. Women (...and not only women) from the entire world are inspired by you and started to believe that they can be attractive and improve their self-esteem. You also give us a lesson about the quality and not sticking to "just any will do". It is a valuable lesson. It is our customer demand for quality that shapes sometimes lazy producers. It is also reflected in life. We have to set up expectations and standards. Realistic yet good standards. You also show us a happy couple, love and support that you receive from your husband. This is very reassuring for those of us, who lost hope that the real love exists at all. Let us believe it. Help us believe it.We need you:) And you have a faith in yourself. Love yourself because we already love you and are grateful for what you do. xx

I have classic length (butt length LOL) wavy/curly hair. I hoard shampoo, conditioner, stylers, leave-ins, curl creams. It's *insane* and you are right. The hoarding must stop... but is it gonna? LOL!

This is why I love Tati. She is extremely privileged to do what she does but she is still so in touch with her feelings and what’s going on around her. KimKong1011 Yes I do! I’m a cosmetician actually so I’ve tried many. If you’re extremely oily. The Becca evermatte really does work as well as the Urban decay Deslick. The trick is to pat not rub it in with these two or your foundation appears cakey. And the bounce on your foundation with brush or beauty blender. Absolutely amazing. For combo oily skin, either the Nyx matte primer or the Smashbox pore filling mattifying primer are great and very easy to use. 😊👍🏼

I don’t like SPF added to anything. I wish they would stop doing it. I know it’s a selling point BUT if you do your research you need 1/4 tsp of product for the specified SPF to be effective on face/neck. This means if a foundation, CC, BB, primer, etc has SPF you need to apply 1/4 tsp (face/neck) for it to protect you from the sun and that would be a horrible cakey mess.
And the SPF is rarely enough to protect your skin!
Always leaves a cast on darker skin too
Not gonna lie, i hate the spf for that reason & because they have to put all that damn sun info & directions for sunscreen use, etc on the box so there are no instructions on how to use the product smh
I like a little in my foundation and the white cast doesn't bother me since I'm so pale. I know it's not enough to protect me but it's a little bit of a buffer on top and idk makes me feel better.
Yes! And my skin is so sensitive to many spf products that I have no idea if something would be good other that that addition.

Please don’t associate “neat and tidy” things with OCD. As a patient who is diagnosed it’s kind of bothersome because that’s not our reality.
Monica please. I do understand that having an anxiety disorder like OCD can be very detrimental to someone’s social and mental health but my comment was not to offend anyone in anyway! When someone says they’re feeling anxious that does not mean they have anxiety and just because someone says “their OCD is going crazy” does not mean they have OCD either! So if I had of said I was feeling anxious, would you have written a comment saying that I should not mix anxiety and simply feeling worried! The intent of my message was definitely not to somehow offend anyone, and I do understand that there is definitely stigma and stereotypes that are now associated with OCD. I was just stating what was going through my brain, back off...
