That misprint is so cool, when I was a teenager my friends mum worked at a bookstore and they got sample copies sometimes which they were supposed to dispose of and my aunt worked at a paper which also got sample books so a good few ended up in my hands one of them I tried looking up afterwards and I have never been able to find proof of it’s existence so I don’t know if it got cancelled or they changed the name and the name on my copy is just not known to anyone else. Very strange but cool.

Have you tried asking people who cover lost media ?
It may go nowhere or lead to something as simple as a retitle of a more known series.
But hey, maybe if you reverse Google image search just the title or cover art or panels you may be able to find a lead.

@@ViktorErikFade I did try reverse image search and searching the title but it’s possible that because it was a sample if it did get released the title and cover could be different and it not be common knowledge because no one was supposed to have it, it explicitly says on the book that it’s to be destroyed. I might dig it out next time I am at my parents house though and see about the lost media thing, the plot was very dark and covered some iffy topics (teenage drug use, mental health facilities and attempts at self deletion) so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was cancelled.

About Mika Yamamori series being licensed by different publishers, I think it’s because of the magazine that they were released in Japan. First two were in margaret , and third one, clear moonlit is in dessert which is run by Kodansha. I like the series, but not much invested in it. Daytime shooting star is better out of all three so far.

I’ve really seen the light as to secondhand manga buying, at least as long as someone (seriously who are you?!) keeps bringing all these awesome manga series to my local bookstore to be sold secondhand. Recently bought all four volumes of Boys run the riot, three volumes of the Cannis series and 2-10 of Toiletbound Hanako. (They had 1 too at one point, but I missed it because I didn’t buy the series immediately when I found it, because I wanted to pick other things up first, and someone else picked up the first volume in between when I went to pick it up and I saw it...)

I paid wayyy less for all those Hanako volumes than even the box set will be, so I’m very pleased. Just need to get one so I can a actually start reading them 😅👌

I should have volume 1 of colorless on the 16th . And i got volume's 1,2 or witches of adamas volume's 2,3 of dan a dan and volume's 2,3 of colorless in .Also im planning on ordering volume 4 of colorless, volume 34 of my hero academia, volume 14 of my hero academia vigilantes, and volume 38 of one piece on the 16th .
