Yes, Coconut Island is beautiful! We actually spent a LOT of time in Lili’uokalani Gardens, but didn't want to bore everyone with endless videos of pretty plants. ;) But of course, the turtles were the highlight of the day.
Thanks for sharing your Brompton adventures! I was on the Big Island for the first time last May, and I regretted not having a Brompton. I have one now for the next trip! Cheers
That's just a paved shoulder. They call it a bike route because of that, but there's very little actual cycling infrastructure in Hawaii. Later in the video when we're heading to the beaches, there's a sign saying we're on the bike route, but it's also just a paved shoulder. The only separated bike path in Hilo is the one that runs through the park with the big tree behind the bus station in downtown Hilo.
🙋🏻♀️ Hi! How beautiful and fun trip. Visiting Coconut Island looked nice. 🌴Sea turtle is beautiful, too.

@@bromptoning haha! I love gardening. I would be happy to watch that. 😉 But your editing is great, too. Looking forward to your next video!
@@BromptonFamilyTime Thank you! Next up is The Red Road in Puna where we biked over fresh volcanic rock!

Yes! Have fun riding your Brompton!
Your opening clip. Is that a paved shoulder or a proper bike lane?
A link says they have 50 bike routes.
